Let's Party

Good Morning
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Doing anything nice today?. I'm off food shopping then
over to mums. Still not feeling to good but you know the old
saying ( You can't keep an old dog down) well that's me, Old I
mean not a dog!!!.
Going to try and get a new carpet for mum's bathroom this afternoon
then Nigel will be fitting it Sunday (hopefully).

Today I want to share with you a card I have made using one
of the digi image that I won on Holley's blog an few months ago.
Thanks  Holley, all the three images are fabulous.

DETAILS

1, As usual for me, card is 8 x 8 and pink.

2. I matted it with gold patterned paper then with a
Happy Birthday paper that I have had in my stash
for years.

      3. The image No 524 from Sherri Baldy was printed
onto super smooth card then die cut ( sorry brain
brain a bit frazzled, cannot remember the name). I
then coloured her using Copic's Ciao and then inked
around the frame with T.Holts distressed ink scattered
straw.  I then mounted her onto the card with foam pads.

4. I made the bow using organza ribbon that has sequins
sown into it, added some bead stems and a dazzler.

Once again many thanks Holley, you are a gem.

2. The image was printed onto super smooth card and

Timeless Rectangles to cut her out. I used
Tim Holts Stormy Sky around the edges.
Her wings were coloured in with a Yellow
Gel Pen to add a touch of sparkle.

3. Next I placed a doily onto the card, then the image

Wilderness

Good Morning, My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are we all this Friday morning, Yes Friday already, looking forward
to the weekend? Lets hope the weather keeps up.

Quickie post today as off the mums to do the domestic chores and
won't be home until this afternoon.

Something a little different from me today, be kind!!
DETAILS

1. Using a fancy edged white card blank I matted  it with
dark blue patterned  card ( I know it look like black card
but trust me it's not)

2. On a piece of craft card I created the background  colours
with brushes and a combination of Adirondack Light
Aqua, Cool Peri, Salmon and Pin Sherbert.

3. Next using Tim Holts distress Vintage Photo I stamped the
tree, birds and the sentiment, ( The true meaning of life is to
plant trees under whose shade you do not expect to sit).

4. The ruins are stamps by Sheena Douglas and these
were stamped onto another piece of card, then cut around
and mounted onto the card with foam pads.

I will let you into a secret but you must  not tell anyone
The card did not start out like this, hence the scene
being mounted onto the background. This was
because when I first tried to do the background
I did not inspect it before I stamped the image, once
I looked OMG it was a mess and I was ready to
throw it into the bin when cousin Mary gave me
idea to cut the image away and create another
background. Thanks for the Idea Mary.

To complete the card I added two hessian strips to each end.

I must say I am quite pleased with the outcome.

Well folks that's it from me today
hope to see you back tomorrow.

Until Next Time

Angel Moon

Good Morning
My Crafty friends, Followers and Visitors

Hope you are all well and coping with the weather?

Just had to make this, the image has it was sitting on my desk crying to be
created - hope you like?

Off to mums today, a few things to sort out then back home and hopefully wing my
way into my craft room and Play!

DETAILS

1. Created the card by using SB Grand Big Scalloped Ovals, cut
two out of cream card then joined them.

2. Using the striped card I again used the same die ( only the next
size down) to create the backing. The card was in my stash
and I was amazed to find it matched my card perfectly( how many
time have we been able to say that, all the bits we save, then once
we start to find a match for a project, hey presto YOU HAVE NONE
that will go but not this time YIPPPPPP.

3. The image is a Tatty Twinkle and has been coloured with my pro
markers before cutting it out using with a SB Lacy circle die.
I then distressed the edges using Tim Holt's Scattered Straw ink.

4. Using a smaller SB Lacy Circle die I cut the sentiment and
again distressed it with the same colour ink.

5. Before attaching the backing card I wrapped a yellow spotted
ribbon around. Next I took two paper dollies and fixed them
at angles allowing me to adhere the image in the centre, using
foam pads. Foam pads were also used to adhere the  sentiment
tag.

6. To complete using Cosmic Shimmer Summer Blue PVA
I created pearls all around the edge of the card, the image
and the sentiment. Although you cannot see in the picture
I have added glitter to her wings and on the stars.

Well my friends, I must call it a day for today,
but do call again tomorrow if you can.

Ringing In Christmas

Good Morning, My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors,

Looks like it is going to be a nice day, sun is shining and a day of
crafting planned, what more could we ask for?.

Today I want to share another Christmas card with you all, hope you like

DETAILS

1. Card size is 8 x 8 with scalloped edges.  I embossed
down the side with one of the Tattered Lace embossing
folder ( sorry cannot remember the name, as it belongs to
Mary and I only borrowed it)

2. The wreath is a stamp by Chloe and I have coloured
it using Tim Holt distress inks.  I then added a little
glitter and tiny red gems to represent the berries.
Sorry it's not very clear.

3. I then used the bell die from Tattered Lace and
cut into it so that just the bells were left.  They
were cut out of silver mirri card and I mounted
them with foam pads to give extra height.

4. To finish off, using the Tonic Jingle Bells die
I cut it using pearl card and glittered it for that
little extra sparkle.

Before I go I would like to welcome my new followers
and hope you like what you see and will continue to
support me.

Well my friends, that it for today, off the peg out my washing

Good Afternoon, My crafty friends, followers and visitors,

Hope you all had a good weekend and got to do what you wanted?.
Today's post is stamping, again using the digi designs, Whoopsi Daisy that

a little ) and am determined to get the techniques if it's the last
thing I  do.

I have done three images over the  weekend and will show one each
day (don't want you to get too excited  all at once), although not so
sure about the last one, might leave it off, anyway I will see.

added a patterned  paper from my stash.

2. The image was printed onto card stock and coloured
using Spectrum Noir pens and cut out using Spellbinder
Die Labels Eight, before removing from the die
I used Tim Holt's distressed ink  Dried Marigold
round the edges.

side of the card and a Birthday Sentiment from my stash.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit and that you will
call again soon.

Ready to Dance

Good Afternoon, My crafty friends, followers and visitors,

Not much been happening today, doing housework, washing then spent a couple
of hours in my craft room. I have had another go at colouring and although I am
putting it on my blog, I am not very happy with it.

I cannot for the life of me get my colouring anywhere near most of you guys
and for this I apologise.   The image is one of a set of three images I won
the other week over at Robyn's Fetish Challenge and they are Whoopsi Daisy
digi stamps.  Believe me no one was more surprised than me, so I  though
better have a go  -  please be kind with your comments, I know its not brilliant.

DETAILS

1. Card base is 5 3/4 square and I added the backing paper from
my stash.
2. The image I coloured with Pro-markers then die cut it using
Spellbinders Majestic Labels Eight. I then distressed around
the edges with Tim Holts distressed ink(Dried Marigold).

3. The image was then mounted onto gold mirri card, before
adhering to the card I took another piece of backing paper
from my stash and placed onto the card at a angle, then the
image was added again at an angle.

4.  The flowers were die cut using Spellbinder Blossoms Two
out of spotted paper from my stash and I added a blue gem
to the centre of each one.

I will be entering this into the One Word Wonder  Challenge
over at Mad Crafters Gigglers

OK folks that all for today

Have managed to do a male card today although I do not like doing them
as I never see to get them right but I am quite pleased with this one.

DETAILS

1. Using an A5 cream  scalloped edge card I matted it with
Brown card stock.
2. I then stamped the images onto white card and coloured
with pro-markers, then distressed with Tim Holts Walnut
Stain.  The images and verse are all from Personal Impressions
Fishing Set  -Designed by Sue Dix.
3. They were then die cut using Spellbinder Labels Ten
also same die used to cut brown card that the images are
mounted onto too.
4. The background although you cannot see very well
has been taken from the Digi Kit embossing folder

5. To complete I  added the Happy Birthday
die cut sentiment.

Well that's all for today, apart from welcoming  my

you all for all for your support and lovely comments, they
