Good Afternoon
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I trust everything is OK with you all?

Today sees the start of another  challenge over at

Penny's Paper Crafty

and the theme this week  is

Anything Goes

I know its every ones favourite, so hopefully we will see lots of
wonderful designs.  It would be nice if you could visit the blog
and take a look at the fabulous cards my team buddies have done,
they have created some stunners and if you could leave them a
little love along the way, that would be every so sweet of you.

Our sponsors  for this challenge are:-

Prize $ 10 Gift Certificate

Prize 2 Single Images from their store

I have again made two cards for this challenge
(I am covering for one of our team ladies for the time being)

Both images are from Karleigh Sue .

Details

CARD 1

1, Using an 8 x8 card I punched out the border using a Tonic punch
and attached it the side of the card before matting with blue card
that had been embossed using a Sheena Douglas embossing folder.

2. I used a Tattered Lace corner die and cream card stock to make
the corners and adhered them to the card.

3. The flourishes are by Tonic and again have been cut using
cream card.  The sentiment is also by Tonic and once cut
I distressed the edges with blue Pan Pastels. Although its
not showing very well I have also gone over all the  die
cuts with the same blue Pan Pastel.

        4. The image is  Listen Hunny and you can purchase by clicking HERE
I have coloured her with Copic and then mounted her using
foam pads onto a paper doily.

CARD 2

1. Used an 8 x8 card and I have created a side border using my
Woodward Edge Cutter

2. Next layered up with yellow checked card stock and I
rounded the corners before adhering to the card. Also I
added white ribbon before the layer was attached to the
card.

3. The image was printed out and then die cut using the
SB die Card Creator 5 x 7 ~Mystical Embrace. She
was then coloured with Copic. The image is named
Bikini Season and you can purchase her HERE

There you have it!

Wilderness

Good Morning, My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are we all this Friday morning, Yes Friday already, looking forward
to the weekend? Lets hope the weather keeps up.

Quickie post today as off the mums to do the domestic chores and
won't be home until this afternoon.

Something a little different from me today, be kind!!
DETAILS

1. Using a fancy edged white card blank I matted  it with
dark blue patterned  card ( I know it look like black card
but trust me it's not)

2. On a piece of craft card I created the background  colours
with brushes and a combination of Adirondack Light
Aqua, Cool Peri, Salmon and Pin Sherbert.

3. Next using Tim Holts distress Vintage Photo I stamped the
tree, birds and the sentiment, ( The true meaning of life is to
plant trees under whose shade you do not expect to sit).

4. The ruins are stamps by Sheena Douglas and these
were stamped onto another piece of card, then cut around
and mounted onto the card with foam pads.

I will let you into a secret but you must  not tell anyone
The card did not start out like this, hence the scene
being mounted onto the background. This was
because when I first tried to do the background
I did not inspect it before I stamped the image, once
I looked OMG it was a mess and I was ready to
throw it into the bin when cousin Mary gave me
idea to cut the image away and create another
background. Thanks for the Idea Mary.

To complete the card I added two hessian strips to each end.

I must say I am quite pleased with the outcome.

Well folks that's it from me today
hope to see you back tomorrow.

Until Next Time

The image I have used is from Sparkle n Sprinkle and is called
Mushrooms in the Forest and can be found HERE. I must say
I really did enjoy colouring this one.

DETAILS

1. Card base is 8 x8 white card and rounded the edges.

2. I then took dark green card and embossed it using one
of Sheena Douglas embossing folder (sorry cannot
remember its name), again I rounded the corners, then
adhered it the card.
3. Using the same embossing folder ( in case you cannot make
our the design it is leaves) I embossed another piece of
lighter green card and adhered this to the other one.

4. A spellbinder oval die was then used to cut out the
the backing for the image again using the dark green
embossed card stock.

5. The image was die cut using SB Grand Decorative Ovals One
onto white card and then coloured using pro markers.

6. To keep the theme of the forest I then cut fern leaves in
different shades of green and arranged them around the

Cherry Blossom Pink

Good Afternoon,
my crafty friends, followers and visitors, I hope you are all well and had a great weekend. Mine not so good as my mum is poorly and is in bed which means I have to keep going to make sure everything is ok and that she gets food and drinks.

I have been with her today since 7am and only got back after 2pm but never mind that's what happens when you are an only child.  Enough of that, on a more lighthearted note I did manage to get some crafting in yesterday and finished this card late evening. I must say I am quite pleased with the result, and yet again it's stamping.  Hopefully I will improve my technique the more I practice, hope you like?

DETAILS

8 x8 white card to which I layered  plain mint card,
I then added another layer of pink card which I have embossed
using one of Sheena Douglas Taste of India folders
Frame cut again from mint card using Spellbinder
(Branching Out) die.   The image was taken from one of
My Craft Studio  CD's I then coloured using Pro Markers
The image was then mounted onto pink card and
added to the frame. I them finished off with pink
ribbon to which I added cherry blossom flowers,
a bow  and a sentiment.

Until next time, Take Care and Happy Crafting.
