Golden Wishes

Good Morning,
My Crafty Friends, Followers and visitors,

Hope you are all well and have managed to cool off, seeing as the weather is quite
cool here today.  Took Oscar out earlier and it started to rain, although not much
I was not impressed but thankfully it's stopped now.
Mary coming today, so will be having a catch up and doing some crafting.
Today's make is one I made yesterday, sorry but it's relating to the time
of year all crafters love, (ha!) YES CHRISTMAS.

DETAILS

1. Card used is an 8 x 8 scalloped edged white card.

2. I then took a piece of vellum and embossed it using
a snowflake design and mounted it onto another piece
of white card using gold gem centre brads at each corner.
Taking a piece of gold ribbon I wrapped around the centre
before adhering using glue to my card base.

    3. Using Phill Martins Sentimentally Yours Lacy Oval Frame
I stamped using versamark onto white card and embossed
with gold embossing power.  The sentiment is also one of
Phill Martins Christmas Verse Collection and again using
Versamark I stamped it into the centre of the frame and
embossed in gold.  Then using foam pads to give dimension
I adhered it to the card.

4. To complete the design I added a bow .

Quite a simple card but I think it has worked well.

That's all for today my friends, hope you have enjoyed your visit.

Festive Fun

Hello Everyone,

OK own up Who has taken the sun today?? its been cloudy all day and the
temperature  sure has dropped a few degrees.  Hope you have all been busy
doing your own thing, me I have been doing housework, boring I know
but you have to do it.  Managed to catch Christina on C&C at noon, it
was her first time and I must say she handled it great.  She was demonstrating
Spellbinder and yes I did end up purchasing a couple of items - well you
just have to don't you!!.

Today I thought I would enter into the spirit of YES Christmas, hope
you like.
DETAILS

1. Started out with an 5 x7 card base to this I added a piece of
red mirri board.
2. Taking a piece of white card I embossed it with a snowflake
design, I then added definition by using Metallic Gilding Wax
Ultramarine by Creative Expressions to the snowflakes.

3.  The image is by Amy Design and its called Christmas Couple.
This I stamped onto a circle die cut frame from Spellbinder and
coloured using pro-markers. I then added an overlay of snow acetate
and using foam pads I adhered it to the card.

    4. Taking a piece of polka dot ribbon I threaded it around the frame
and  added pieces of holly to give it a wreath effect.

5. The sentiment was die cut out of red mirri board using the
Robert Adams sentiment dies.

And there you have it, I would like to thank you all for taking the
time to follow me and to welcome my new followers and to
thank  you  all for the comments on my work, I really do love
reading them  and appreciate them.

So Folks that's it for today, hope you will come back for
another visit.

Wedding Bliss

Good Morning,
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors,

I hope you are all well and enjoying this gorgeous weather, I know I am.
Well this is a surprise, me having my blog ready at this time of day, to be honest
yesterday I was very naughty and spent most of the day in my craft room, which
is something I rarely get to do and you know I managed to make quite a few
cards as the ideas just kept flowing.
As you know I have did not blogged must last week due to having the plasterers
in and my room being taken over as a store room.  thank goodness its finished
all that remains is to paint the ceilings and walls but that can wait until next week
as had enough mess for one week.  Nigel spent his day putting a primer coat
of paint on the ceiling and walls on the stairs and landing, I of course kept
his supplied with drinks, as he kept complaining he was sweating, ( I told
him we sweats just breathing never mind doing a job)  somehow I got
the impression he was not impressed.
Anyway down to business, hope you enjoy today's offering.

DETAILS

1.8 x 8 card stock, to this I added an embossed background card.
2.The image is from the Hunkydory and I have mounted this into
a frame cut from one of the Spellbinders 5 x7 Enchanted Labels.
I then glittered the brides dress and headdress to add more
definition to her.
3. The flourishes were cut using the Tonic Flourish die and to this
I added the lilies and roses from my stash and added stick pins.
3. To complete I added pearls to the frame and flourish's and
added the sentiment.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit and that you will visit
me again.  Off to see mum soon, so As Always

Good Afternoon,

Hope you are all coping with the weather, I am loving it as I am a
sunshine person, the rain and cold do not go down well with me.
Guess I live in the wrong country (HA!!).

Well not been up to much today, spent most of the day chilling out in the
sun and this afternoon Linda came round and yes she sorted my
Winners Challenge Badge out and its now on my blog.  Many
thanks Linda, don't know what I would do without your help!!.

Anyway here is a little card I have done, hope you like?
DETAILS

Started with an 8 x8 Scalloped card to this I added a piece
of Hunkydory folded Adorable Scorable cardstock  to
the bottom of the card and to the top of the card I added a piece
of Hundydory printed Adorable Scorable cardstock with
the lily design.

Next before adhering to the card I stuck a piece of lace
across the join, then mounted onto my card.   The topper
has been decoupaged and I have pleated lace around the topper
of added effect.

To complete, I die cut the sentiment using the Tattered Lace
Happy Birthday die.

Good Afternoon
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors,

Well everyone I'm back, had a nice relaxing holiday in Yorkshire and the weather
was not unkind to us, although I would have liked more sunshine but cannot complain.

The following card I made before I went away but did not have time to blog, so
here goes.  Oh by the way guess what, I have won a challenge !!! and the
prise was a stamp from Little Claire Designs named Silhouette Picnic.  I have
not got my winners badge yet as to be honest I do not know how to get it ( but
I know a lady that does and I will asking her tomorrow - Yes its You Linda, you
lucky lady) Ha Ha!!

DETAILS

Started with 8 x8 scalloped edge white card, the using a piece of
adorable  Scorable  backing card from the Hunkydory Pretty Petals
range I took a piece of lace and adhered it around the card before
mounting it onto my card.
I then took two postcards again from Hunkydory Sent with Love
Postcard Toppers and placed at angles onto the base backing card.

The rose is also from the Pretty Petals kit and has been decoupaged
and then mounted flat onto my card.

To complete I then die cut a butterfly  using  the Tattered Lace
butterfly die out of silver mirri board and glued to the top.

Thank you all for visiting, I hope you have enjoyed it.

Christmas Sparkle

Good Morning,
My Crafty friends, Followers and Visitors.

it's about time I made a start.  My first Christmas make, using stamps.  I am
not very good yet but I will keep on trying.

Just to let you know I will be on holiday next week, so no blogs for a week
my friends ( Don't upset yourselves, I will be back ) I will be
keeping a eye on all your blogs however, so you cannot escape
me, Ha!!!!!.

DETAILS

1. Started with a 8 x8  silver card, I then took a white card
and stamped the Crystal Branch image by Stamps By Chloe
as the background and embossed using WOW(Frosty The Snowman)
embossing powder and then added Sparkelicious Silver glitter
for that little bit  extra sparkle.

2. I then stamped the baubles again using Stamps By Chloe
stamps  - Large Stary @ Snowflake Baubles. These were
then embossed with WOW embossing powder Twinkling Lights
and then I  added  Sparkelicious Ice Maiden.

3. The sentiment is again one of Stamps By Chloe and I stamped
again onto  white card and embossed with Twinkling Lights.  I
rounded the corners before adhering to the card with foam pads.

4. To complete I took a gold ribbon from my stash to create a bow

Lilac All The Way

Good Morning,
My Crafty friends, Followers and Visitors,

I trust we are all well and still enjoying our lovely weather, (I know I am ).
Not had a lot of time to blog this week as busy with my mother and getting
things ready for my holiday, off up to Yorkshire on Saturday for a week
and really looking forward to the break, so after tomorrows blog I will
not be issuing any posts (I know How WILL YOU CONTAIN  YOURSELVES)
HA!!!!!!!
Anyway enough of me being silly, hope you like toady's offering?.

DETAILS

1. Card size - 8 x8 scalloped edge white, I first embossed
the card using Die'sire Ornate Butterfly. I then coloured
the butterflies using Cosmic Shimmer Iridescent Mica Powder
(Sea Rose).
2. Using Lilac card I die cut two borders using the new
Couture Creations Ornamental Lace 12" die.  The
circle was cut from the Memento - Cappuccino Die and
the sentiment plaque also from Couture Creations Square +
Deco plaques.
3. Before adhering the circle I threaded Lilac ribbon
through and finished it with a bow.  Although they are not
showing up very well I placed lilac gems around the edge
of the circle, along the borders and under the sentiment.
4. To complete I added lilac flowers from my stash and the
sentiment was die cut from a Tattered Lace die (sorry cannot
remember the name ).

Well that's all for today my friends, hope you have enjoyed
your visit.

appreciate you all and love reading your comments.

First Embrace

Good Afternoon My Crafty friends, Followers and Visitors,

I trust you are all well this fine afternoon.  Now that the dark clouds have dispelled
we have some sunshine, for how long is any ones guess but hopefully long enough
to dry my washing.

I made today's offering on Thursday but have only just managed to upload
to my blog, hope you like?

DETAILS

1. Using an 8 x8 white card (my favourite size) I took a printed
sheet (taken from one of my Cd's and using the Tonic Regal
Border Punch I created the edge.  This was then stuck to the
card.

2. Being unable to find the correct size frame for the image
I took a Martha Stewart Punch and created my own frame
out of white card.  To this I added the image which is from
Hunkydory and then glittered parts of the dress, feather
boar, headband, Chandelier and Christmas Tree to give
that little more texture.

3. To complete I added lilac flowers and leaves, created a
bow from white ribbons and enhanced the bow with
sliver glitter gems.

I do hope you have enjoyed your visit and that you will
come back again soon.

Harvesting

Afternoon to you all and welcome to my blog,

Hope you are well and doing what makes you happy.  Today has been a
day for housework, I know its a dirty word but hey we have to do it if only
to keep hubby happy and say " OH I have never stopped today "right.
Been to the hospital this afternoon for an X-ray on my hip as not sure
if it's arthritis or the hip is giving up as I am in a lot of pain when I walk
and if I am sat once I try to get up I look about 90 (be careful now).

Anyway enough of the boring stuff, today's card was actually made
the other day just have not got round to adding it to my blog . Hope you like.

DETAILS

1. I used an8 x8 white card and covered it with mint green
pearl card stock. The frame was cut out of the same card
using the Spellbinder  Branching Out die. I actually cut
two frames and pieced  together to make a larger frame,
I then wrapped a ribbon around the frame before sticking
to the background.
2. The image and spotty backing paper are both from
the Forest Friends Collection 1 by Cupcakecrafting
3. I then took  the image and mounted it onto more
of the mint green card stock and used form pads to give
it that extra bit of height.
4. To complete I took three buttons in the same colour and
adhered them with my glue gun.

Well that's it my friends for today, I hope you have
enjoyed your visit.
So as always
Take Care and Happy Crafting
