Winter's Evening

Good Afternoon, my crafty friends, followers and visitors

How are we all today, weather not been to bad managed to get my garden done
and boy does my back know it.
I told you the other day that hubby was taking me out for the day and would
not tell me where, well I can tell you we went to Quarry Bank Mill in Styal
Cheshire ( it's about 40 mins drive from us).    If any of you are watching
The Mill on Sundays thats the mill that its based on and some scenes have
been filmed there, mostly where the machines are.  We has a super day
and its a nice place to visit, lovely gardens, nice cafe and the weather
was kind to us, what more can you ask for.

Well today I thought I would share another Christmas card with you again
using the Tattered Lace window Die (I do like this die)

DETAILS

1. Started with an 8 x 8 scolloped edged card to which I have
added another piece of card that I have embossed with a snowflake
design.

2. To enhance the snowflakes I have used Pinfliar Buff-it in Silver.
Before the panel was mounted onto the card I took  a piece of
tartan  ribbon and wrapped it around.

3. Using red mirri board I cut out the window with the Tattered
Lace Window die, I then took a winter scene from Robert Adams
CD Christmas Trees cut it down to fit behind the die then
adhered it to the card.

4. The pointsettia was cut using the Spellbinder die out of cream
centura pearl card and glittered (although its not showing up)
a red gem was added to the middle.  The flourish was again cut
using the same centura pearl cream card and also glittered.

  5. To complete I used the Tattered Lace Winter Wishes die for the
sentiment  and  added another piece of ribbon that has the greeting
 Merry Christmas printed on it.

Well my friends I am afraid that is it for today, hope you enjoyed
your visit.

Until Next Time

Watch the Birdie

Good Morning crafty friends, followers and visitors,

Welcome to my  new followers and thank you for following me.

Don't panic folks I know you never see a post this early from me but I
thought for once I would post early as I made this card the other day
just been waiting to finish it off.   Bit of a dull day today and was
trying to rain when Oscar and I went out for our morning walk but
I suppose  it bound to come sometime as long as it remembers to
go away again.  Well it's Thursday and Mary will be round soon
for our crafting day so better get on.

DETAILS

1. Started with an 8 x8 card and covered it with a backing  paper
from Trimcraft next I took a Satin Card from Imagination Crafts
and using the Viva Universal Mask (Bird on a Twig) I stencilled
using Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Texture Pastes( Silver Moon and
Pink Blush).
2. Once dry I then mounted onto the card and using a Tonic
Flourish die I cut five flourishes from silver mirri board and pieced
them together to make the frame.make the frame.
3. Using a Robert Adams die I cut the sentiment (FOR YOU)
out of silver mirri .

I do hope you have enjoyed your visit.

ROAD TRIP

Good Evening,
My Crafty Friends, Followers, and Visitors

Yes its me , I have not fell off the face of the earth but hubby was on holiday last week
so I had to spent time with him (you do these things to keep them happy). I have managed
to do a card, hope you like? and yes I will be back blogging this week (did I hear a
few Yipppppp's )  Well a girl can dream !!!!.  How are we all enjoying this lovely
weather? I love it and the sun tan is coming on a treat.

I would like to send a quick hello to my new followers
and to extend my thanks to you all for following me.  It really
gives me a thrill when I see another follower has joined and I hope I
can keep you all entertained with my little note's and my makes.

DETAILS

1. I took an 8 x8 card, then cut a section of map into three and
mounted onto black card before sticking  to the card.

2. Once I die cut the camper van (Robert Adams) I coloured with
pro-markers. This die comes in sections so its easy to cut the
chrome parts and tyres in their respective colours.

3. The road signs were from google images, which I reduced in
size before printing off .

4. The postcards were from the My Craft Studio CD Shabby Sweet.

Well that's  all for this evening folks
