Christmas Love

Good Morning

My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Well the start of another week has begun, boy the week are flying by.

What are you getting up to today?, I am off to mums as usual this
morning, then back home but not sure what I will be doing as
hubby is on holiday this week and hopefully we intend
to get out for the odd day or two.

Today I am again giving you another Christmas card made from
the Christmas Collection Designed by the lovely Emma Goddard.
Her web site is Delightful Digi Images and the links are below.

Emma has created some fabulous images and they are a joy
to work with. She even has backing papers to match, how cool
is that.

Anyway here is the latest card, hope you like?

 DETAILS

1. Card is 8 x8 and has been backed with blue card, then a
section of one of the backing papers over that. Before
adhering to the card, using the Sue Wilson die Snowflake
I cut out the border and adhered this to my card base.

2. Third layer is again blue card and using one of the
Christmas frames from the collection I took  it into
MCS and adjusted to the size I required.

3. The digi was also taken into MCS and resized to fit
into the frame. I then printed it out onto super smooth
card and coloured the images with Copic.

4. Using red glitter I used it  all around the frame.
I used Pinflair Snow Dust on their hats and mittens
and Pinflair Ice Diamonds on the Poinsettia's

Last but not least I added the words Happy Christmas
cut out of red glitter card.

Well thats me done for today my friends

Hope you enjoyed and I will see you soon.

Gifts Galore

Good Morning

My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Hope you are well on this dull wet Sunday morning?

What are you getting up to today?, I think judging by the weather
so far, I might spent the afternoon crafting. Sounds like a plan to me.

I would like to thank my latest follower Ursula for joining my little
band of crafting followers, Hope you enjoy the ride.

Today I am again giving you another Christmas card made from
the Christmas Collection Designed by the lovely Emma Goddard.
Her web site is Delightful Digi Images and the links are below.

DETAILS

1. card is 8 x8 and has been folded to create an Easel card

               2. Using a very pale lilac ( I know it looks silver but I assure its not)
I have embossed it and adhered to the card.

       3. Next I took one of the frames from the Christmas Collection
printed it out onto super smooth card and coloured the
poinsettia's with Copic. I then cut around the frame. Using
silver glitter I spread it all over the frame then adhered
it to the card.

4. The image was printed out again onto super smooth card,
coloured with Copic and then fuzzy cut but this time I
left a slight border all around. His hat and coat button
have also been glittered.

5. Using white card I then cut the border and corners using
the new Sue Wilson dies Snowflakes, they were then
also glittered before adhering to the card.

6. The inside of the card has a panel of plain silver mirri
card with a panel of the embossed card glued over
the top.

To complete, using red mirri board I die cut the
25th Dec using the die from the Joanna Sheen collection.

I hope you have enjoyed todays visit, and whatever you are
getting up to today, most importantly ENJOY.

Flower Trellis

Good Morning
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are we all doing?.  Are you coping with this weather?, its so up and down
and this wind is driving me nuts. I hate the wind, I don't even like a breeze,
how about you?

Well nearly the end of another week and can you believe it's nearly May
it will be Christmas  before we know it at this rate.

Though I had better get my blog post done early today as with it being
Thursday, my cousin Mary is due to visit and we will be popping out
before we get into crafting, so busy day but we never complain about
it being busy when we craft do we?

Today I have made a card using one of the new Tattered Lace dies
and Decoupage CD, Charisma Peony.

DETAILS

1. I started with a 5 x7 cream card and matted it with a
backing paper from the Cd.

2. Next using the Sue Wilson Die, Background from the
Greek Island Collection  I cut it out in white card.

3. Using the Tattered Lace Cd Decoupage Charisma Peony
I selected the pink collection and printed it onto super
smooth card stock.  Once printed I then took the
die that accompanies the cd placed over one section
of flowers (you get four on a sheet) and cut. All that
remained was for me to decoupage them up but I
also left some single and arranged them around
the background die to create a trellis look. The
leaves are also included.

4. To complete I made a small bow for the centre and
added two silver metal butterflies.

Easy Peasy card to make but I think it is quite delicate looking
and these flowers are going to come in very useful.

Anyway that's it from me today, my friends
and I hope to be back tomorrow. Thanks for calling
and leaving me your comments, I really do read
each and everyone and appreciate you taking the
time to visit.  Bless each and everyone of you.
