Smell The Flowers

Good Morning, My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors,

No you are not dreaming, yes its still morning and I am doing my blog.
Reason being I have the plasterer in today doing my kitchen ceiling and until
he has finished I cannot do anything, so  I thought do your blog first because
once he has gone I will have all the cleaning up of plaster dust to get rid of
and cleaning my cupboards down (even though everything is covered in plastic
sheets the dust will still get through)

Anyway enough of the boring stuff, what about this weather, I am looking
through my window and the sky is blue and the sun is beaming down
Oh how lovely to see, hope its the same for you all.

Today I have done another Whoopsi Daisy image and will entering it
into the new Challenge LEAVES.

DETAILS

           1.     Started with a 5 x 7 cream card and using a Tonic
edge die I cut the top front of the card.

    2.     I coloured the image using Pro-markers and put
Glossy Accent onto her hair ( it does not show up
in the picture) but it does make her hair shine Honest.
She was then mounted onto gold mirri board before
adhering to the card.

      3.    The leaves were done using Tattered Lace dies in
green and white card stock.

                   4.   The flowers were from Sweet Lilac and I have enhanced
them with pale gold pearl gems.  I have also used
the same gems to enhance the flowers in the top
of my card.

Well that's all for today my friends and tomorrow
I will showing you my attempt at another stamping
technique.

Ready to Dance

Good Afternoon, My crafty friends, followers and visitors,

Not much been happening today, doing housework, washing then spent a couple
of hours in my craft room. I have had another go at colouring and although I am
putting it on my blog, I am not very happy with it.

I cannot for the life of me get my colouring anywhere near most of you guys
and for this I apologise.   The image is one of a set of three images I won
the other week over at Robyn's Fetish Challenge and they are Whoopsi Daisy
digi stamps.  Believe me no one was more surprised than me, so I  though
better have a go  -  please be kind with your comments, I know its not brilliant.

DETAILS

1. Card base is 5 3/4 square and I added the backing paper from
my stash.
2. The image I coloured with Pro-markers then die cut it using
Spellbinders Majestic Labels Eight. I then distressed around
the edges with Tim Holts distressed ink(Dried Marigold).

3. The image was then mounted onto gold mirri card, before
adhering to the card I took another piece of backing paper
from my stash and placed onto the card at a angle, then the
image was added again at an angle.

4.  The flowers were die cut using Spellbinder Blossoms Two
out of spotted paper from my stash and I added a blue gem
to the centre of each one.

I will be entering this into the One Word Wonder  Challenge

Today's make is a little image I coloured a few week's ago but have only just

make?

 DETAILS

1. Card stock is 6 x51/2 with scalloped edge down the side.

Gone Fishing

Good Afternoon, Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors,

Having a nice day today crafting with Mary and catch up chat. Managed
to get a photo ( although not very good)  of the Woodpecker that has decided to visit
me for the past week and whilst  I am doing this blog he is here again.
Have managed to do a male card today although I do not like doing them
as I never see to get them right but I am quite pleased with this one.

DETAILS

1. Using an A5 cream  scalloped edge card I matted it with
Brown card stock.
2. I then stamped the images onto white card and coloured
with pro-markers, then distressed with Tim Holts Walnut
Stain.  The images and verse are all from Personal Impressions
Fishing Set  -Designed by Sue Dix.
3. They were then die cut using Spellbinder Labels Ten
also same die used to cut brown card that the images are
mounted onto too.
4. The background although you cannot see very well
has been taken from the Digi Kit embossing folder
Scenes by Serif
5. To complete I  added the Happy Birthday
die cut sentiment.

Well that's all for today, apart from welcoming  my
new followers and my thanks to
you all for all for your support and lovely comments, they
 really do mean a lot.

Playtime

Hi Everyone, hope you are all well?.

The weather here is not very nice today as it's raining but
I will be able to play in my craft room without looking out and thinking I need to be in the
sun.  Once again its Thursday (my how the weeks are flying by) and Mary my cousin will
be coming over, not sure how much crafting we will do as we have to go out first.  Anyway
my friends whatever you are are up to hope you have a good day. Today.s card is again a
stamped one - Hope you like?

DETAILS

Card is made from white card stock and measures 20cm, I scored at 10cm
to create the panel.  Next I embossed the front panel with a Sheena
Douglass  Taste of India embossing folder.  The inside panel has been
covered with a backing paper from the Tattered Lace magazine ( think it
was issue 1).  I then die cut the tree using the Spellbinder Flutterby Tree
and cut extra butterflies for the front panel. The image I coloured using
Pro-Markers then mounted onto a piece of Hessian before attaching to
the card. For the  finishing details I added buttons and a bow from my
stash and placed the extra butterflies around the image. The sentiment
was stamped onto white card and die cut using  part of a Die'sire
Magic Mirror die.
