Birthday's

Good Morning,

My Crafty Friends, Visitors and Follower,

Well the big day is nearly upon us, I hope you
are all ready?

Today we are starting our last challenge of the year
  218  over at :-

The challenge theme is

Birthday Celebrations

and its been chosen by Wynn

The girls have been working hard to
create designs to inspire you, so please
take a moment to view their work and
if you can, leave them a comment.

I have chosen to use an image from the cd

Everyday Collection

You can purchase it and others by clicking on
the link   HERE.  There are also some great
freebies too,  so well worth checking it out.

The prize for the winner will be
2 digi downloads from the Ooh La La Creations Store

DETAILS
1. The card size is 7 x 7 and to this I have matted it with
green card from my stash that I first embossed and then
rounded the corners.

2. From the Cd Everyday Collection I printed off the topper,
two background papers and an insert. Using a square die
from Tonic I first cut the patterned card and adhered to the
card with foam tape.

3. Using the next size down die the second panel was cut
also adhered to the card with foam tape.

4. The topper was added at an angle again with foam tape.

To complete I added Nuvo Jewel Drops around the yellow
card and glitter around the topper.

So there you have it, a great birthday card made quickly
thanks to the cd's.  Honestly I can say any of the cd's
from Ooh La La you would not be disappointed with
the amount of choice that they contain if fabulous.

All that's left for me to say is

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL

Thanks for the support over the year and hopefully
I will see you in 2017.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Until Next Time

My card has been created using the image Christmas Carol Angel
from Lemon Shortbread. Click  HERE to go straight to the
image.
DETAILS

1. Started with a fancy edged card that I found in my stash and
then matted it with cream pearlescent card that I first embossed
with a musical embossing folder.

2. The header die I think is from Marianne and it was cut
from white pearlescent card and then glittered up.

3. The image coloured with Copic and added glitter.
Die cut using a Tonic oval die.  I then cut another
frame using a rectangle die from Sue Wilson and
glued the image to this. Once dry I adhered
the whole frame to silver card before setting
onto the card with foam tape.

To complete I die cut the snowflake ( think its from Sue Wilson)
and the Happy Christmas, glittered both before adhering
to the card.

Thanks for the visit.

Prize 3 Digital stamps of winner choice

For my card I have used the cute little image Mouse Toting Big Red Flower
from Toadstool Printables.  He is available HERE

DETAILS

1. The cute little mouse image I took into MCS and then
proceded to make up my design by standing the mouse
on a tree stump, then adding the pansies around the stump.

2. Still in MCS I took a sprig of daisies and copied and
pasted them. I then arranged them into the semi circle.

3. I found the sentiment, also in MCS and new I just
had to use it as I can picture the little mouse uttering
the words.

4. Once I was happy with the arrangement, I then printed
it out onto white card and proceeded to colour up the
mouse and flower.

5. When all done I then adhered the panel to a
7 x 7 scalloped edged white card.

So there you have it, quite a simple card but I think
very effective and depicts my take on the theme Blossoms.

Looking forward to seeing your creations.

Thanks for the visit

Good Afternoon
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Hope you are all ok and are coping with the horrible   weather we are
having today.

Today is my husbands birthday and I though I would share with you

Now to say he like Daleks  is an understatement as he has quite a lot
dotted around the house ranging for very small keyring types to
a full size one. Yes you  have read it  right A FULL SIZE ONE.

So what other card could I make ?

DETAILS

1. Started with an 8 x 8 card and matted with steampunk
backing paper taken from the steampunk cd by Debbi Moore.

2. Still with cd I printed out another sheet of backing paper
and matted it onto kraft card. Mounted onto the card
using foam tape.

3. The Dalek image I bought back in the summer from the
craft fair at Bolton.

To complete I added sentiments from my stash.
Oh by the way He liked it..

Dreaming of Love

Good Morning,

My Crafty Friends, Visitors and Follower,
I trust everyone is ok?

Right so her is the report on the Thunder Jacket that
we purchased for Oscar, remember it was to try and
calm him down whilst all the fireworks were on.

Well I have to say did not make that much difference
Oscar was still quite stressed even with the jacket on
and there was no difference once we removed it.
Therefore in my case ( and I stress this is in the case
of Oscar only) not worth  the money- cost £35.00
but at least we gave it a go.

Today we are starting our new
challenge  217  over at :-

The challenge theme is

Vintage

and its been chosen by Pauline

The girls have been working hard to
create designs to inspire you, so please
take a moment to view their work and
if you can, leave them a comment.

I have chosen to use an image from the cd
Yesterdays Memories

You can purchase it and others by clicking on
the link   HERE.  There are also some great
freebies too,  so well worth checking it out.

The prize for the winner will be
2 digi downloads from the Ooh La La Creations Store

DETAILS

1. Started with an 8 x 8 card and folder back the top section
in half.
2. Printed off the topper and backing paper from the cd, before
adhering them I have distressed the edges and added distress
ink, vintage photo around the edges.

3. Before I adhered the section that has been folder back I have
wrapped a piece of burgundy velvet ribbon around it.

4. Using the Spellbinder die 5 x7 Mystical Embrace card creator
I cut the frame again using one of the co-ordinating papers
but printed it onto card stock. I then adhered the topper so
the the image appears to be in a frame.

5. The flowers are from Sweet Lilac and the added embellishments
are from my stash and to complete I created the pearls using
 Tonic Nuvo Crystal  Drops.

1. Card size 8 x 8 and I have matted it with blue card from my
stash. Next layer is backing paper from my stash. Before
adhering, both had the corners rounded at one end.

2. Using the Tonic Bowscale Layering Dies I created the

the background created using distress ink.  I have
used white Nuvo Crystals to simulate the fur on her
hood and added silver stickles to the snowflakes and
added some through the fur on her hood.

3. I then die cut the image still using the Bowscale dies,
adhered to the blue frame and then to the card at a
slight angle. I have to say I loved colouring this
image as I think she is so adorable.

Welcome Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors.

Well here we are 5th November already, are you going to
hold any Bonfire Night parties, or going to any?. If you are
then please take care and watch those fireworks.

Also take time to consider any pets that you have and make
sure they are safely inside.

I won't be going out as I do not like fireworks and there is no
way that I could leave my little fur baby Oscar as he is
terrified once they start, so this year we have invested in one
of those Thunder Jackets that are supposed to stop them
getting stressed out. I will report back and let you know
if it was worth the money or not.

Now lets get down to business
It time again to introduce our second challenge over at

We are a monthly challenge that will
start on the 5th of each month and end on the last day of the month.
We are a themed challenge and this month the theme is:-

All That Glitters

Here is my DT make and please visit the blog and see what my
team buddies have designed for your inspiration.  We hope  you
also come along and support us by joining in.

DETAILS

1. Started with an 8 x 8 card blank and matted it with
purple mirri card.

2. Next layer has been adhered with foam tape and its
backing paper from the Bebunni cd that I recently
won from a challenge over at  Cd Sunday.

3. Next layer is one of the toppers and once this was
adhered to the card, I went around the edges with
double sided tape and then added glitter to it to give
me the glitter frame.

4. I added glue to parts of the topper and also added
glitter to them.  The banner also came from the
cd and again this also has had glitter added.

To complete I added pink gems to the flowers and
the banner, larger pink gems were added to each corner.

So that's my take on  all that glitter, cannot wait to see
what you come up with.

Thanks for visiting and leaving me your comments.

Welcome to challenge # 15 over at
The theme for this months challenge is

I have created  a very quick card for this challenge, choosing
to go all computer generated, hope you like?

DETAILS

1.Using the Docraft Digital Designer programme ( this
was my very first card designer programme, had it for
quite a few years) I first added the snowflake design
to the top half of an 8 x8 card.

2. Next I added a dotty paper to the bottom half and
created a ribbon border to join the two together.

3. Looked through the embellishments in the programme
and came across this cute penguin and added him to
the card.  Next I added the snowflakes in the corners
and added the sentiment.

4. Printed it out onto card and adhered this to an 8 x 8
card.

5. I used glitter at the centres of each snowflake and
added Fuzzy stuff below the penguin to give the
snow effect.
