Thank You

I trust you all well? and can you believe  its nearly  the end of January

Today we are starting our latest challenge
 221  over at :-


The challenge theme is

Thank You

and its been chosen by Janice

The girls have been working hard to
create designs to inspire you, so please
take a moment to view their work and
if you can, leave them a comment.

I have chosen to use an image from the cd

DETAILS

1. Using an 8 x 8 card I matted it with pink pearlescent card
that I first embossed. Before it was adhered I wrapped blue
ribbon down the side.

2.  Next I layered two of the papers from the cd and added
a white panel that had been embossed and die cut using
Spellbinder's A2 Curved Borders.

3. The topper was adhered to the card using foam pads
and I die cut the words Thank you from left over pink 
card.

To complete I created the chocolate box bow and added
to the centre of the ribbon.

Dare To Dream

I have used for my card the image Dreaming Of Summer
from All Dressed Up and if you can purchase it by clicking
the link HERE

DETAILS

1. Using a card 8 x 51/2 I matted it with paper
that I created by using Distress Inks Shabby Shutters
Spun Sugar and Scattered Straw by Tim Holts. I
then inked over it with a flower stamp.

2. Next layer is white card that I have embossed.

3. The image was coloured with Copic and die
cut using S/B die Pearl effects and before
adding to the card I have inked around the
edges.

4. In keeping with the theme I then added flowers
from my stash and the Happy  Birthday tag and
a With Love sentiment.

Sleepy Days

Today we are starting our latest challenge

DETAILS
1. Created the card base from dies and black card.

2. Printed off the topper and two backing papers from
the cd and with the same die set cut out the panels
in decreasing sizes.

3. Layered each one up and then adhered the topper
to the centre.

4. I printed out another  of the topper and cut around
the image as I decided to decoupage it.

To complete I added the sentient also printed from the
cd and added a little bone charm from my stash.

I Bring You A Rose

DETAILS
1. Started with an 8 x8 scolloped edged card and matted it with
Orange card from my stock.

2. Next I used two of the papers from the Vintage Hearts Collection
From Lozzy's papers and adhered then at angles onto the card.

3. The image was one that I won a while ago from Karin Van Eijk
isn't it a gorgeous image and I have coloured it with Copic.
Thank you Karin, (bet you thought you would never see it LOL)
Once coloured I went around the edges using Pan Pastels. 
The image was mounted onto the same orange card before
adhering to the card with foam tape.

To complete I added an orange bow .

Fly Away

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Hope everyone's ok on this dull chilly Tuesday.  Defiantly
not the weather to be going out but unfortunatly I have to
later on.

Today I just wanted to share a card made for no other reason than
I wanted too. Hope you like?

DETAILS
1. Started with a 6 x 6 black card.

2. Using white card, I cut and embossed the panel using
one of the new Xcut Cut and Emboss folder and this
one is entitled Floral Frame.

3. I then adhered the frame to a piece of silver mirri card
and then adhered to the card using foam tape.

4. The butterflies are from the Hunkydory butterfly
collection and all I did was cut then out of one
of the toppers. Slit the wings for movement and
curled then before adhered with hot glue.

To complete I added Tonic Nuvo  Silver Drops.

Two for One

Good Morning

My Crafty Friends, followers and Visitors

Well you should be well and truly over Christmas
now and settling into the New Year.


Welcome to today's  challenge #  79  over at 


 and the theme is

Ribbons and/Or Pearls

I have chosen to use both sponsors in this challenge, so
first card is using the image Snow White Bird from
Lemon Shortbread and you can purchase it HERE.
DETAILS
1. Started with an 8 x 8 scalloped edged card and matted
it with paper that I first embossed and then added
Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powers - Siver Dream, Bronze
blush,Teal Wash and Scarlet Mist.

2. Before adhering to the card I wrapped a teal satin ribbon
across the middle and created a bow.

3. The image was coloured with Copic and then die cut,
  mounted onto a piece of teal card and then adhered to
the card with foam tape.

To complete I added pearls to the centres of the embossed
flowers, pearl strips along the top and bottom of the card
and added two pearl pins to the bow.

Second card using my own image from Di;s Digi's

DETAILS
1. I started with a circular card from my stash and added
a backing paper from my stash that I die cut using a
circular die.

2. The image was coloured with Copic and then die cut
with a S/B die.

3. Using the Tonic word dies I die the sentiment from
silver mirri card and adhered to the top of the card.

To complete I added green pearls around the card and
added a small green bow.

Hitchin A Ride

Welcome Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors.

Well here we are 5th January  already. I hope by now
you have got over the Christmas Holidays and are
ready for the year ahead.

It time again to introduce our Fourth challenge over at



  We are a monthly challenge that will
start on the 5th of each month and end on the last day of the month.
We are a themed challenge and this month the theme is:-

Add Sparkle

Here is my DT make and please visit the blog and see what my
team buddies have designed for your inspiration.  We hope  you
also come along and support us by joining in.

For my card I have used the image Hitchin A Ride and is one
of our sponsors images.
DETAILS

1. Using a 7 x 7 white card I first matted with dark blue mirri card.

2. Next layer is a piece of hand made sparkling paper that I have
had in my stash for years. ( sorry its not showing up very well)

3. The image was printed onto super smooth and coloured with
Copic.  I then die cut it and added gel pen dots around the
image( again to add some more sparkle)  before adhering
to the card using foam tape.

4. At each corner I added silver dome dots and created an outer
edge using  blue gems.

To complete I added the Birthday Greeting banner.

News Flash

Good Morning,
 My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors 

Well here we are in 2017 and I hope it will be a good year for us all.

Today I want to share with you some exciting news, most of you
 will know Linda Simpson as she is a freelance designer
and is a  daily blogger and has been for years. 

Well I am here to announce that Linda has decided to open her
own Etsy shop selling her own design papers  and matching toppers.

The name of this new venture is Emerald  City Crafts and if you

The packs are available to pre-order from today 3rd January
with an estimated delivery of 2 weeks.

Linda and I have been friends for many years and when she
 informed me of her new venture, then I was only  too
 happy to agree to make some samples to showcase

all from the Ephemera Pack Steampunked





For the next section I have used papers and toppers from the
Les Beaux Oiseaux Collection.

1. Using an 8 x 8 card I first matted it with black card.
Then with white card I created my background using
Distress inks and stamped the tree using the stamp
from Sheena Douglas .

2. The image was coloured with Copic and then die
cut. I inked around the edges before adhering to
the card.

3. The sentiment is also from Sheena Douglas

Happy New Year, I hope you had a great Christmas

Welcome to challenge # 17 our last one of the year
 over at 
The theme for this months challenge is

January Blues ( Mostly Blue)

If you would like to be a Guest Designer, then just enter
GD after your name when you link up.


DETAILS
1. Created the card blank from white card and rounded the edges.

2. Using the Sue Wilson die (sorry cannot remember the name)
I die cut blue card to create the frame an then adhered to the
card.

3. The image is from LOTV and is called James Umbrella
I have coloured him with Copic, isn't he the cutest?. If
you would like to purchase then please use the link HERE.

4. I die cut the image using a square pinhole die and also
die cut a larger square from lighter blue card.

5.Using the Sue Wilson tag dies I created the tags added
the sentiment and slipped between the image and the
pale blue frame so that the tags would slide back behind
the image (for posting). The image was then adhered
with foam tape.

To complete I added glued clear drops around the card
to represent  rain drops.

1. Card size is 8 x 8 and I first matted it with pink card from
my stash. The next layer is paper from the cd that accompanies
the topper.
2. Next created a panel from pink card and another of the papers.
Before adhering to the card I wrapped a piece of blue ribbon
across the centre.
3.   The last layer was again created from pink card and the topper.

To complete I added the sentiment and Tonic liquid  pearls.
