Hold Onto My Heart

Good Afternoon, My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors,

Well sorry to say the weekend is nearly over but at least we have the sun
shining here today, although it was raining this morning but now
blue sky.
Had a lovely afternoon yesterday with Mary (my cousin) we went to
the Papercraft show at Leigh and had a lovely time.  I had my photo
taken with Robert Adams ( do like his dies and Cd's and have been a fan
for some years). Spent more than  intended but that's what happens
as we all know.  Bought some stamps and watched the demonstrator
doing her work and when I came home I had a go and to my
surprise I have actually created a scene, so happy with it and
it will be on my blog probably Tuesday.

Today I have again used a Whoopsi Daisy image.

DETAILS

1. Card base is 5 x7 and I have added a pink satin card
that I have embossed with Diamond effect embossing folder
that has little hearts in in, (sorry its not very clear).

2. Before the embossed card was adhered to the card
I took a piece of white ribbon and wrapped around
to form the crossover effect.

     3. The image is from Whoopsi Daisy and I have coloured
her using Spectrum Noir Pens.  Once the colouring
was complete I die cut the image using Spellbinder
Nestabilities Labels Twenty Nine and placed onto
the card at an angle.

4. The design has been completed by using flowers from
Sweet Lilac to which I have added pink pearl gems, also
pink pearl gems added to the ribbon and a white bow
added to the centre from my stash.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit today and that
you will call back and leave me a comment, as it
really means a lot to me.

Well that's all for today my friends

Hey Girl

Good Evening Everyone,

How are we all today? well what a day its been with this weather, I was
at mum's today doing her housework and when  I got there  the weather was
sunny, so out I went to peg out the washing, it had only been out about
half a hour when it started raining ( you know the type of rain that is
very fine but wets you through) well my little legs  ran into the garden
to bring it all in. This went on for a couple of hours, washing out, washing in
in the end I gave up, brought it home shoved it in the dryer.

Today's make is using the new Sassy & Classy Cd, hope you like.

DETAILS

               1. Card base is made using the new Easel Card Die from Ruby Red
Crafts and is a joy to use, backing paper also from the  Cd.

2. The image was printed off the Sassy & Cassy Cd again
from Ruby Red Crafts and I coloured her with Spectrum Noir
Pens.

3 I then die cut the image using Spellbinder Grand Labels 4 and
also using the same die cut another label in black card.  The
two dies were then put together at an angle and adhered to the
easel card.

    4. Using white card  and a Tonic flourish die  I cut one single
flourish and with red roses from my stash used these to
complete my card.

Well that's all for now my friends

Dreaming

Good Evening, my crafty friends, followers and visitors,

How are we all today, don't you think the weather has turned a little colder? I am sitting
here and getting colder as the day draws towards evening. Don't like it, I
was just getting use to the hot weather.

Today the card I have made will be my entry into the One Word wonder challenge
over at Mad Crafters Gigglers, as it has to be Vintage.

Ruby Red Crafts and received today ( I just love it, if you want
stepper cards quickly GET THIS) Card stock is brown.

added cream lace down the sides and along the bottom.

3. I took a paper lace doilie from Dovecraft also in cream
and cut it down the middle and then cut one half in two,
They were then stuck flat onto the card.

Winter's Evening

Good Afternoon, my crafty friends, followers and visitors

How are we all today, weather not been to bad managed to get my garden done
and boy does my back know it.
I told you the other day that hubby was taking me out for the day and would
not tell me where, well I can tell you we went to Quarry Bank Mill in Styal
Cheshire ( it's about 40 mins drive from us).    If any of you are watching
The Mill on Sundays thats the mill that its based on and some scenes have
been filmed there, mostly where the machines are.  We has a super day
and its a nice place to visit, lovely gardens, nice cafe and the weather
was kind to us, what more can you ask for.

Well today I thought I would share another Christmas card with you again
using the Tattered Lace window Die (I do like this die)

DETAILS

1. Started with an 8 x 8 scolloped edged card to which I have
added another piece of card that I have embossed with a snowflake
design.

2. To enhance the snowflakes I have used Pinfliar Buff-it in Silver.
Before the panel was mounted onto the card I took  a piece of
tartan  ribbon and wrapped it around.

3. Using red mirri board I cut out the window with the Tattered
Lace Window die, I then took a winter scene from Robert Adams
CD Christmas Trees cut it down to fit behind the die then
adhered it to the card.

4. The pointsettia was cut using the Spellbinder die out of cream
centura pearl card and glittered (although its not showing up)
a red gem was added to the middle.  The flourish was again cut
using the same centura pearl cream card and also glittered.

  5. To complete I used the Tattered Lace Winter Wishes die for the
sentiment  and  added another piece of ribbon that has the greeting
 Merry Christmas printed on it.

Well my friends I am afraid that is it for today, hope you enjoyed
your visit.

Ready to Dance

Good Afternoon, My crafty friends, followers and visitors,

Not much been happening today, doing housework, washing then spent a couple
of hours in my craft room. I have had another go at colouring and although I am
putting it on my blog, I am not very happy with it.

I cannot for the life of me get my colouring anywhere near most of you guys
and for this I apologise.   The image is one of a set of three images I won
the other week over at Robyn's Fetish Challenge and they are Whoopsi Daisy
digi stamps.  Believe me no one was more surprised than me, so I  though
better have a go  -  please be kind with your comments, I know its not brilliant.

DETAILS

1. Card base is 5 3/4 square and I added the backing paper from
my stash.
2. The image I coloured with Pro-markers then die cut it using
Spellbinders Majestic Labels Eight. I then distressed around
the edges with Tim Holts distressed ink(Dried Marigold).

3. The image was then mounted onto gold mirri card, before
adhering to the card I took another piece of backing paper
from my stash and placed onto the card at a angle, then the
image was added again at an angle.

4.  The flowers were die cut using Spellbinder Blossoms Two
out of spotted paper from my stash and I added a blue gem
to the centre of each one.

I will be entering this into the One Word Wonder  Challenge
over at Mad Crafters Gigglers

tree to give some definition.

   3. With the mirri card again I embossed it with a lattice embossing
folder and then created the corner, again I have added red gems
to enhance it.
