GET WELL

Good Morning,

My Crafty Friends, Visitors and Follower,

Today we are starting our first challenge of the year
 227 over at :-

The challenge theme is

GET WELL WISHES

and its been chosen by WYNN

The girls have been working hard to
create designs to inspire you, so please
take a moment to view their work and
if you can, leave them a comment.

I have chosen to use an image from the cd

Yesterdays Memories ( Pansy)

You can purchase it and others by clicking on
the link   HERE.  There are also some great
freebies too,  so well worth checking it out.

The prize for the winner will be
2 digi downloads from the Ooh La La Creations Store

DETAILS

1. Started with a 6 x 6 card and matted it with two of
the papers that accompany the Pansy image.   I
decided to cut them diagonally and then used a ribbon
from my stash to conceal the join.

2. Next layer is two heart shaped doilies from my
stash and then using the pansy image I decoupaged
it and added it to the doilies.

3. Die cut the words Get Well from white card and
added a bow to complete.

A very easy but pretty card that I think would
 bring some cheer.

Thanks for calling,
Until Next Time

Details
1. With an 8 x 8 white card I first matted it with rainbow
card from my stash.

2. Next using papers designed by Lozzy from the My Time
collection I laid the next layer.

3. Again another mat of rainbow card and one more

rounded before adhering to the card.  Before both
layers were adhered I wrapped a lemon spotty ribbon
across the centre.

4. The stamp is one I bought from the Inspiration store
in Preston ( Hunkydory) and I stamped it onto super
smooth and coloured with Copic. I then die cut it
using S/B die Pearl effects.  Mounted it onto another

Majestic Stallion

Good Morning,

My Crafty Friends, Visitors and Follower,

Today we are starting our first challenge of the year
 226 over at :-

The challenge theme is

BIRTHDAY

and its been chosen by PAULINE

The girls have been working hard to
create designs to inspire you, so please
take a moment to view their work and
if you can, leave them a comment.

I have chosen to use an image from the cd

Yesterdays Memories ( Stallion)

I decided that I would make a Birthday card for
a male, seeing as I don't have many in my stash.

You can purchase it and others by clicking on
the link   HERE.  There are also some great
freebies too,  so well worth checking it out.

The prize for the winner will be
2 digi downloads from the Ooh La La Creations Store

DETAILS

1. Card size is 8 x 8 and to this I have added a backing
paper printed off the cd Yesterdays Memories.

2. From the cd I also printed off the sheet containing the
topper and smaller toppers. I printed out another
backing paper but only used the part containing the
horses heads as I wanted this as a border.

3. Mounted the topper the two smaller toppers and the
panel onto gold mirri card. The large topper was
secured with foam tape but the rest were adhered
flat as I wanted the centre topper to stand proud.

To complete again using gold mirri card I die cut
the horse shoes and the Happy Birthday added
gold Tonic Nuvo Drops to both corners and there
you have it, I think a great male birthday card.

You have plenty of scope with this challenge as the
birthday can be for any gender or age.  Looking
forward to seeing what you come up with.

Thanks for calling and your lovely comments
