Faery Ink
Prize 3 Digi Images
Angie's Cards & Digi's
Prize3 Images of winners choice (excluding ~Digi Sets )
The ladies on the design team have created some
fabulous cards for your inspiration, so why not pop
along and have a look and join the challenge whilst
your there.
My card has been made using the image Daisy May with Cupcake
from Angies Cards and Digi's, she is such a cutie and a joy
to colour. If you would like to purchase here just click on
the link HERE.
DETAILS
1. Using a 7 x 7 white card I matted with backing paper
from my stash. The image was printed out and coloured
with Copic and then I added the path using one the
new stencils from Sheena Douglas and T/H distress
ink Walnut stain. I then inked around the image
background with a various inks. I must say I am very
please with the background as usually I find it quite
hard to create a background with inks but on this
image for once I got it right (well its right enough
for me).
2. The image was die cut and mounted onto the card
with foam pads.
3. For the lace part of the challenge I added the lace
daisy border down the side and the flower is also
made from lace and I have added a pink pearl
gem to the centre.
4. To keep with the theme I added three pearls down
the top corner and two pearl hat pins to the flower.
To complete the sentiment Happy Birthday was added.
