Summertime

Good Morning,

My Crafty Friends, Visitors and Follower,

Back from my holidays and enjoyed the rest, the weather
could have been better but there you go nothing I can do
about that.

I visited South Wales, Milford Haven and to my surprise
I was contacted by the lovely Andree AKA Ace Cards
telling me that she lived not far away and that she takes a
crafting class every Wednesday morning at In House Crafts
and would I like to go along.  Well the answer was yes
and I had a wonderful morning, met some lovely
ladies and had a mixed media class.  we created a
tag ( I will show later). I cannot thank Andree, the
ladies and Cheryl the owner enough, who all made me
feel very welcome. After the class Andree and I had
a fabulous lunch.

It was a great morning and once again Andree
thank you.  So if you are going anywhere near
Milford Haven, go into the Marina and call
in the shop and say hello and a browse  as they
may be a small shop but its like Aladdin's Cave
and they are so helpful.

Right back to the business of the day.

Today we are starting our first challenge of the year
 231 over at :-

The challenge theme is

Summertime

and its been chosen by yours truly Me

The girls have been working hard to
create designs to inspire you, so please
take a moment to view their work and
if you can, leave them a comment.

I have chosen to use an image from the cd

Paula Oakley ( Fresh Fish and Seagulls)

You can purchase it and others by clicking on
the link   HERE.  There are also some great
freebies too,  so well worth checking it out.

The prize for the winner will be
2 digi downloads from the Ooh La La Creations Store

DETAILS

1. Card size is 8 x 8 and I have firstly matted it with paper
from the cd that goes with this topper.

2. Next using dies of various sizes I have cut the navy card.
The same dies were also used the cut the second paper
from the cd.

3. They have all be layered up at various angles and before
the last navy card and topper were added, I took gold
cord and four shells and adhered them diagonally across
the card.

4. The topper once adhered to the navy card at an angle
was then adhered to the card using foam tape.

I do hope you will come along and join our challenge
as we are looking forward to seeing your Summertime
makes.

Once again thank you for calling and your lovely comments.

Until Next Time
As Always
Take Care and Happy Crafting
Jennifer xx
