My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors,
Here I am again and yes friends is now OCTOBER
Welcome to my post for the new challenge
over at
The theme chosen for this month is
Use Die Cuts and/Or Punches
We Have New Challenge Blog Rules, so please Note:-
Entrants Must Use A Digi or Element from a Cd
Also Only Two entries are allowed, unless you have used
a Whoopsi Daisy image then 3 entries are allowed
==============================
Hope you will pop over and take a peek at what my team
buddies have created for your inspiration.
My card has been made using an image is from
the cd - Whoopsi Daisy Digi Designs
You can purchase it and more gorgeous cd's and
and didgi images just by clicking on the link
HERE.
DETAILS
1. Started with a 7 x 7 white scalloped edged card and
matted it with blue paper from the cd but firstly the
top was die cut and then I embossed it.
2. Next I took two other edge dies to represent snow
mounds and used white card and once cut these
were also embossed and then adhered to the card
with foam tape.
3. The snowman ( don't you think he is so cute with
that lovely smily face) was taken from the cd and
was a pre-coloured image. I then fuzzy cut around
him and using foam tape and adhered him between
the show mounds.
4. Using white card and a Tattered Lace Christmas
tree die I created the tree and added it the card.
Red Nuvo Crystals were added just to inject that
little bit of colour.
To complete I die cut the sentiment Merry Christmas.
So there you have it, my take on the theme using
six dies in total. Cannot wait to see your fabulous
creations.
Thanks for calling
Until Next Time
Take Care and Happy Crafting

I love snowmen and this one has a lovely retro feel to him, and he is so cheerful too :-) You've made a fab scene for him to stand in and the embossing on the background looks great.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe it's October already - eek!
Big hugs, Kat xx
I love your card and the cute, cheeky face on your snowman. It reminds me of the sort of illustrations that children's books had in the 1950s. Thanks for sharing at Sparkles Christmas
