Good Morning
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors
Well back from my holiday and back to reality, had a lovely break and
nice and relaxed. Will share more later.
Its time again for another challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage Challenge Blog
SPOTS or STRIPES
We have two sponsors for this challenge and they are
Prize = 2 Digi Image of Winners Choice
and
Prize = 3 Sets of your choice
We have more new design team members who are waiting
to show you their creations along with the rest of us. They have
created some stunning work, so please show us your support,
pop on over to the challenge, take a look and most importantly
we want you to play along and have some fun.
My first card has been made using the image 1960's Lady
from Rick St. Dennis. You can purchase her by clicking on
this link
DETAILS
1.Started with a 5 x 7 cream card and rounded the edges.
2. Using paper from my stash I decided to use both spots
and stripes. I wrapped a pink spotted ribbon across
both to conceal the join before adhering it to the card.
3. The image was coloured with the following Copic's
Skin E000,E00.E21,E11,E04, R20
Hair Y28,YR23,Y21,YR31
Dress RV06, RV14,RV13,RV21
Shawl Y17,Y15,YR15
Lips RV06
I have left the stole across her shoulders white and
used glitter all over it. Glitter was also used on
the feather at the bottom of the shawl. I have used Adirondack Lights
Pink Sherbet ink around the edges and then added glitter.
4. The image has been cut using Tonic die Elegant Oval Layering.
I then took the next size up in these dies and cut out using
silver mirri board. This was then adhered to the image frame.
5. The two flourish swirls were done using the Tattered Lace die
and the flowers using Blooms Two from Marianne flower die.
The flowers were done using the left over paper and then glittered.
To complete I added the sentiment Birthday Greeting.
My Second card has been made using the Dress Form Template
from The Cutting Cafe, Link is HERE.
DETAILS
1. I decided to create a shop front for this card by using
two A4 card and a template that I have had for a few
years.
2. The images are supplied with the tailors dummy and
sheets of dresses, skirts and tops. All are white ready
for you to colour as you wish. I decided to keep with
the theme for the cloth's.
3. One the images were coloured I fuzzy cut them ready
to go into the shop front. I used paper from my stash
as the backdrop then placed the three images into
each window. To make the window look more
interesting I used peel off's (Yes I said peel off's those
long forgotten little items) and added Hats to the dummies
shoulder bags and shoes. Even little necklaces around the
dummies necks.
4. Again I have used white peel off borders around the window
frames to add more interest.
The sentiments are also included within the kit I think there are
around nine different ones on one sheet.
I have added another picture showing the shop front from a
Well my Friends, I do hope you will join our challenge
