Christmas Collection Part 3

Good Evening
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Quick post tonight, just to get you in the mood for Christmas

So without further ado, here is another card made using the

New Christmas Digi's that  will be available to purchase from Tomorrow
over at Delightful Digi Images

Emma has done loads of images for this collection and there will something
for everyone I am sure.

My card is featuring the Christmas  Bells

DETAILS

1. Using my favourite card 8 x8 I matted it with gold
mirri board.

2. Next layer is paper that I took from my MCS collection
and before adhering to the card I have put red ribbon
down the side and along the centre.

3. The Christmas Bell were printed out onto super smooth
and part coloured with Copic. The bells have all been
glittered using Chloe extra fine glitter, as have the berries.

4. I then fuzzy cut them and adhered to the card using
silicone glue.

A quick but effective Christmas Card I think.

Thanks for stopping by and please go on over to
Delightful Digi Images and I bet you will spoiled
for choice as what to buy.

Christmas Collection Part 2

Good Evening
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Quick post tonight, as getting a little tired and cannot think straight
anymore.

So without further ado, here is another card made using the
New Christmas Digi's that  will be available to purchase from Next Tuesday

I thought  for this card I would use the image only to make my card
and if I say so myself I am please with the result.

There is no need to wait until next week to go over to
Delightful Digi Images site and check out the great images
that are available to purchase, so go on what you waiting for?

DETAILS

1. I downloaded the image into MCS and re sized, not by
much as the image is a decent size already.

2. Once printed out I took another piece of card, and laid
the image onto it in reverse and traced around it. Once
done I cut it away and then joined to two together at the
top to create the card.

3. I then coloured it using Copic added glitter around the
letters, holly,pudding and candle.

There you have it, a great little Christmas card and here
is a side view.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have liked what
you see, maybe, just maybe you might see another one
tomorrow.

Until Next Time

Spots or Stripes

Good Morning

My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Well back from my holiday and back to reality, had a lovely break and
nice and relaxed.  Will share more later.

Its time again for another challenge  over at Creative Craft Cottage Challenge Blog

Our theme for this fortnight is:-

SPOTS  or STRIPES

We have two sponsors for this challenge and they are

Prize = 2 Digi Image of Winners Choice

and

Prize =  3 Sets of your choice

We have more new  design team members who are waiting
to show you their creations along with the rest of us.  They have
created some stunning work, so please show us your support,
pop on over to the challenge, take a look and most importantly
we want you to play along and have some fun.

My first card has been made using the image 1960's Lady
from Rick St. Dennis. You can purchase her by clicking on
this link

DETAILS
1.Started  with a 5 x 7 cream card and rounded the edges.

2. Using paper from my stash I decided to use both spots
and stripes. I wrapped a pink spotted ribbon across
both to conceal the join before adhering it to the card.

3. The image was coloured with the following Copic's
Skin E000,E00.E21,E11,E04, R20
Hair Y28,YR23,Y21,YR31
Dress RV06, RV14,RV13,RV21
Shawl  Y17,Y15,YR15
Lips RV06
I have left the stole across her shoulders white and
used glitter all over it. Glitter was also used on
the feather at the bottom of the shawl.  I have used Adirondack Lights
Pink Sherbet ink around the edges and then added glitter.

4. The image has been cut using Tonic die Elegant Oval Layering.
I then took the next size up in these dies and cut out using
silver mirri board.  This was then adhered to the image frame.

5. The two flourish swirls were done using the Tattered Lace die
and the flowers using Blooms Two from Marianne flower die.
The flowers were done using the left over paper and then glittered.

To complete I added the sentiment Birthday Greeting.

My Second card has been made using the Dress Form Template
from The Cutting Cafe, Link is HERE.

DETAILS

1. I decided to create a shop front for this card by using
two A4 card and a template that I have had for a few
years.

2. The images are supplied with the tailors dummy and
sheets of dresses, skirts and tops. All are white ready
for you to colour as you wish.  I decided to keep with
the theme for the cloth's.

3. One the images were coloured I fuzzy cut them ready
to go into the shop front.  I used paper from my stash
as the backdrop then placed the three images into
each window. To make the window look more
interesting I used peel off's (Yes I said peel off's those
long forgotten little items) and added Hats to the dummies
shoulder bags and shoes. Even little necklaces around the
dummies necks.

4. Again I have used white peel off borders around the window
frames to add more interest.

The sentiments are also included within the kit I think there are
around nine different ones on one sheet.

I have added another picture  showing the shop front from a
different angle, to show the depth of the window.

Well my Friends, I do hope you will join our challenge
and looking forward to seeing all your spots and stripes
designs.

Prize 3 Images

My card has been made using an image from Sponsor
Drawn with Character and is a cute little owl. You can purchase
it HERE

DETAILS

1, Card size is 8 x 8 and I have matted it with paper taken from
the collection by First Edition called Paper Flowers. It was
one piece and I have cut it diagonally and used the reverse
image on the bottom section. To cover the join I have laid
a piece of Blue straw roll from The Works.

2. The backing for the image has been taken from the new
Polkadoodles Cd Twiggy & Toots which I opened up
in MCS and then took the image and placed it as if
he is sitting on the branch. I then printed it onto super
smooth card. Once printed I coloured the image using
Copic's and then added some 3D Gloss finish to the
eyes.  Using a cutting edge from Tonic's new die
Art Nouveau I cut out the image and scene. I then
went around the edges using Pan Pastels to soften them.

3. The flourish's are from the  Tonic die Royal Fern and I
have coloured then using pan Pastel.

4. The image was adhered using foam pads and before
it was stuck down I added two blue feather from my stock.

To complete  I  added the sentiment cut from the Tattered Lace
Birthday die and again using Pan Pastel went over the whole
sentiment.

Please visit our challenge blog and take a look at the stunning
work created by my team buddies, as they really do work
hard and leaving a little comment can brighten their day.

We do hope you will come and play, looking forward to seeing

The Greatest

Good Morning
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Well not speak to soon but the SUN is SHINING, dare I think summer is
finally here??.

How are you all today, I trust in fine spirit and going to make the most of
the day.  I will be crafting along with Mary as Thursdays our crafting day
and catch up and I really look forward to seeing her.

So therefore  I will have a quick post today ( I hear you- thank goodness)

I am again showcasing another one of Emma's fabulous  creations
from Delightful Digi Images and this time its for Fathers Day.

It was a lovely image to work with and I think so different from the
normal Father's day images.  If you pop on over to Delightful Digi Images
you will find some very great images to purchase all hand drawn by Emma.

Just click HERE and you will be taken to the site where you can have a
nosey around. ENJOY.

DETAILS

1. Using an 8 x 8 card I matted kit with gold mirri board, then
I embossed blue card with the Hessian embossing folder from
Sheena Douglas and adhered this on top of the mirri board.

2. Next layer  was a 6 x6  paper that came from goodness
know where( I have a few pieces that are not sealed
together and been in the draw years) but I thought
it complemented the image perfectly.

3. Sue Wilson Tags dies came next using a striped paper
and I placed them randomly.

4. The image was coloured with Copic markers and distressed
around the edges with T.H Walnut Stain.

5. Using the Tonic die (With Love)  and the largest die I cut one
in navy card, a plain one in blue card and finally the image
using the next size down patterned edge die.  I matted
them altogether using foam pads and placed into the
centre of my card again with foam pads.

6. The sentiment was created by using the smaller of the With Love
die and the alphabet dies from Tattered Lace cut out of navy
card and again I have used the same ink to distress the edges.

To complete I added blue dome stickers to each corner and there
you have it a great fathers day card.

Sadly my dad passed away 27 years ago and I still miss him, as he
was my world and times like this really bring it home how
much he is missed.  So although he is not here, this card is
still dedicated to him.

My card has been made using the image Bear Fishing from Image That.

DETAILS

1. Using an 8 x 8 card I matted it with papers created in MCS

2. The image has been printed onto super smooth and coloured
with Copic. I must say I was a little concerned about colouring
this one as I have never coloured fur before but on the whole
I don't thinks its too bad.  Die cut using Labels from  Little B.
Once finished I used Pan Pastels to soften the image.

      3. Using the same  die I cut another frame from light brown satin
card and then adhered to the image at a slight angle.  It was
then adhered to the card using foam pads.

4. The sentiment Happy Father Day came with the image and
I have stamped the top sentiment, as I thought it needed something
to fill that space .

I do hope you will join the challenge, my DT buddies again have done
a great job and they would appreciate a kind word or two.
