Baby Girl

 Good Afternoon
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I hope everyone is OK and enjoying your   Sunday.

I would like to welcome Lacey Lassy who is my latest follower and I hope
you enjoy your visits.

Sorry for not blogging yesterday but I was at the Great Northern Show at
Bolton with cousin Mary and boy did we have a good time. Managed to
buy lots of goodies and then when we got home I was knackered.  Funny
how you can carry on walking around in and out of stalls not once but
loads of times and you never feel tired but the moment you leave the
place, it hits you but hey ho it was worth it and yes I did end up spending
nearly all the money I took but what the heck, you cannot take it with you
and everything you see it's a case of OH I NEED THAT,MUST HAVE IT
even if you know it will sit in a draw or cupboard  for months.

Anyway today I have been at mums this morning whilst Nigel (Hubby)
laid a new carpet in her bathroom and she is very happy YIPPPPP.

So back home and in the craft room ready to showcase another one of
the lovely Emma's images from her fabulous collections over at
Delightful Digi Images. As I told you on Friday, Emma designs all
her own images, backing papers and sentiments.  To see the full
collection just click HERE and you will be taken straight to the
site.  You will not be disappointed

The card I have made is using the Baby Rattle and I have designed the
card for a baby girl.

DETAILS

1. Card is 8 x8 (surprise) and I have matted it with paper
that I have designed in Serif, this includes the washing
line and the other two patterned papers.

2. Before I adhered it to the card I took an piece of pink ribbon
that has the wording It's a Girl and a baby bottle printed on it
and adhered it to the backing paper.

3. The image was printed out and coloured with Copic and then
die cut using SB die Detailed Scalloped. I then cut another
frame using the same die and pink satin card. I then adhered
it to my card. The image was then placed at an angle over
the other frame and stuck down with foam pads to give it
heights.

4. To complete the design I laid pram ribbon along the bottom
and added a touch of glitter between each pram.

There you have it, I think a very pretty card for any little girl
and with the image being of a decent size, its just perfect to
adore the front as the main feature.

I do hope you have enjoyed your visit and that you will
pop over and take a nosey around at Delightful Digi Images
and I will be back tomorrow to showcase another one of
Emma's designs.

So until Next Time

Take Care and Happy Crafting.

straw.  I then mounted her onto the card with foam pads.

Love is Sharing the Umbrella

Good Morning,

My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Have you missed me?
Sorry for not blogging but everyday life has been getting in the way of crafting.

Hope this post find you all well and getting ready for the long weekend.
Whatever you have planned I hope it all works out and fingers crossed
maybe we will have some sunshine ( but don't hold you breath on that one).

Usual day for me ( am I boring, Don't answer that one, I think I know the answer)
off to mums, cleaning then home hopefully to craft but the way I feel not
sure as on Wednesday whilst taking Oscar for his walk, the heavens opened
and we both got soaking wet.  I mean really wet, rain went through my coat
and my jeans were stuck to my legs.   Hence why not feeling great at present
aching everywhere and I feel as if I have swallowed barb wire.

Boy I have depressed myself reading this, so without further ado lets
get onto todays little offering.

DETAILS

1. Card size is 8 x 8  and I have matted it with pink card.

2. I opened the new Cd from Polka Doodles Twiggy & Toots
in MCS and taking elements from the Cd I created the
card front.

3. Printed it out onto super smooth card and then adhered
it to my card.

4. Although you cannot see it very well I have glittered around
the sentiment and the centre image.

5.To complete I added pink gems and a pretty daisy lace border.

There you have it, a quick easy but I think a very sweet card.

Honestly this Cd is so so cute you really need to get it, you
won't be disappointed .

Anyway that's all from me today, hope to be back tomorrow.

Would you believe it's Wednesday and time for another new challenge
over at Penny's Paper Crafty and our theme this week is :-

MORE THAN 1 FOLD

We have had a great response to our last challenge and its great to see
that so many of you continue to support us.

Our sponsors for this challenge are :-

Prize 3 Digi Image of Winner Choice

Prize 3 Digi Images of Winners Choice

I have made my DT make using the image Audrey Fishing from
The Stamping Boutique and you can purchase her by clicking on this

I am sure that a visit to either of our sponsors will not disappoint as they
have so many fabulous digi images, you will surly be stuck as to which
ones to purchase.

DETAILS

1. Using a piece of black A4 card stock I creased it to create the
tri-fold card. Once done I embossed a A4 blue pearlescent card
and then cut out the panels to fit my card.

2. The image as I have said is from The Stamping Boutique and
was printed out onto super smooth card stock.  I have coloured
it using my Copic's. Once coloured I  cut it out using one
of the new Tonic dies -Art Nouveau Layering Die Set.
Another layer was cut out of black card and then adhered
to the first die.

3. Again using the smaller dies in the set I cut two and
then the sentiment was stamped into the centre.

4. The butterflies are also from Tonic and again in keeping
with the colours one was cut in black card and one in
white and then layered up.

5. The inside of the card has a white embossed panel
attached to the centre, picture below.

So there you are, I hope you will come on and join in.
If you are stuck for inspiration, then pop over to the challenge

Die Deight

Good afternoon
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Not to bad a day today, been to mums, sorted her washing and ironing and then
though that once home I would get into the garden.

Arrive home at 1.30pm and the weather although not raining is getting cloudy and that
dam wind is still here (I hate the wind) so decided to get on with some DT work
instead.
Hopefully it might be brighter tomorrow, then I can get into the garden, fingers
crossed anyway.

Today card is a little different, as you can see no images in sight and I have
only used die's  and an embossing folder to make. I think its ok?

DETAILS

1. Card size is 8 x 8 and to this I have added a green satin
card that I have embossed. Before adhering to the card
I wrapped a gold satin ribbon across the centre.

2. The two borders were done using the Tattered lace border
die (Victoria Border)and was cut out of gold mirri board.

3.The centre dies are also Tattered Lace (sorry I don't know the
name) again using gold mirri board.

To finish off the card I made a fancy bow and added a green
flower gem to the centre and also one to the centre of the
die.

Well that was a quick breakdown, I hope you like my
little make and hopefully I will post again tomorrow.

Thank you all for your lovely comments and for continuing
to support my little blog. I love you all!!

Ladybird Rose

Good Afternoon,

My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Welcome to  Lyn who has just become a follower.

I am sorry to see that somehow I have lost two of my followers, for what
reason I don't know but should you wish to return I would welcome it.

I don't know if I am following you all or not, if not them would you please
let me know, it's unfair that you should take the time to follow my blog
if I do not extent the courtesy to follow you back.  If this is the case.
then please except my apologies.

Thank you for your comments on Friday regarding this issue with mum's
new bathroom sink and I can tell you after me being there from 7.30am till
8.30pm everything is fine.  The reason being the plumber should have been
there at 8.30am but phoned to tell me he would be late due to family
problems.  He arrived at 12.30pm and I must say he never stopped
until the job was finished and even helped me clean up. So I cannot
fault his on his work in any way, it was just the fact that my whole day
was up the creak but these things have to be done.  All that needs doing
is sorting out the bathroom carpet  as mum now wants a new one. So
hubby will be doing that in about 2 weeks as next week we are going
to a wedding.

Well I think i have bored you enough, so let's get onto today's card.
I have taken one of the images from the Octavia cd from
Polkadoodles and I hope you like.

DETAILS

1. Card size is 8 x 8 and I have matted it with paper I designed
in MCS.

2. The image was printed onto super smooth  card and I have
coloured her with Copic and then used aglitter gel pen for
her wings,  Pan Pastels were then used  around the image
 to soften.

3. I die cut using a plain oval die and then adhered lace
around it before adhering to the card using foam pads.

3. Organza ribbon was then used along the side and top
edges and I created tails to finish and secured them
with a gem.

To complete I added three gems down the side  and the sentiment.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit and my little essay Ha!ha!

I will be back tomorrow, hope you will

Sail Away

Good Morning
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend.

I just hope the weather improves as I seriously need some sunshine in my life.

Quick post today as with it being Friday, I am off to mums to do her cleaning.

She is having a new sink and unit fitted in the bathroom today and I have to
be there to oversee the plumber as mum being mum will hide herself away
in the lounge as she has never been very good at dealing with things like
this, so hey ho it all down to me.

Hope you enjoy my little make

DETAILS

1. Started with a 5 x 7 cream card.

2. The backing paper is from the cd Times Gone By
from Crafters Companion and I have distressed it
before adhering to the card.

3. Using an oval die I cut the frame from cream card
and stamped. Next I ran my distress ink lightly over
it to age it.
4. The images are again from the same Cd and these
were also distressed before adhering.

5. The anchor is cut from a Robert Adams die and
I used brown card then I rubbed Pebeo Renaissance
Gilding wax over it.

To complete I wrapped a gold twine around and
threaded it through the anchor.

You can purchase her by clicking on the link here.

DETAILS

1. As usual my card is 8 x8 and I have matted it with  card from
Hunkydory. You may not be able to see but the card stock has
glitter in the hearts.  Before I adhered it to the card I wrapped
a length of lace along the bottom edge.

larger frame out of more Hunky dory lemon card and adhered
this to the card.

3. The image was printed onto super smooth card and coloured
with my Copic's and then dusted over with Pan Pastels before
I die cut still using the Tonic Celtic Dream dies only the next
size  down layer .

4. Next I took leaves and flowers from my stash and arranged
them down the side.  I then created the double bow and added
a clear dazzler to the centre. I decided to give the lace a little
more detail by adding clear gems.

Sitting Pretty

Good Morning
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Happy 1st of May to you all, maybe now the weather will start to pick back up
but don't hold you breath.

How are you all doing today, ready for the long weekend?

Usual today for me I'm afraid, off to mums to carry out my domestic chores
then back this afternoon  hopefully doing some crafting.

Today's card has been made using one the digi images that I won from
Holley and is again one of Sherri Baldy's Bestie images, which I love

A Big thank you to Holley and I hope she likes what I have done with her.

DETAILS

1. Started with an 8 x8 pink card and matted it with paper from
the paper pad Rose Garden from First Edition.

2. Next layer was a panel of White Spider Net. On top of that
I added a heart shaped doily.

3. The image was printed onto super smooth and coloured
using Copic's and the die cut with a circle die from SB.

4. With the next size up circle die, I used another piece of
paper from the same pad and then mounted the image
onto this at an angle.

5. The outer frame is from Tonic and before adhering to the
image I coloured the edges with Pan Pastels.

6. The butterfly borders were created with the Joy die
Butterfly border and cut out of White Pearlescent card.

7. The lace roses were cut to length to create a border down
the side. I then added a silver butterfly and three gems.

To complete I made a bow, left long tails and twisted them
before adhering to the card. A heart slider was added to the bow.

Until Next Time
As Always
Take Care and Happy Crafting

Jennifer xx
