Pals Together

Good Morning,

My Crafty Friends, Visitors and Follower,

Today we are starting our first challenge of the year
 223 over at :-

The challenge theme is

EMBOSSING

and its been chosen by JULIE

The girls have been working hard to
create designs to inspire you, so please
take a moment to view their work and
if you can, leave them a comment.

I have chosen to use an image from the cd

Yesterdays Memories

You can purchase it and others by clicking on
the link   HERE.  There are also some great
freebies too,  so well worth checking it out.

The prize for the winner will be
2 digi downloads from the Ooh La La Creations Store

DETAILS

1. The card size is 5 x 7 fancy edged and I first layered it
with kraft card that has been embossed using the Crafters
Companion e/folder Leaf Vein and also I have rounded
the corners.  Before sticking down onto the card I
wrapped a piece of lemon satin ribbon across the centre.

2. Next layer is one one of the patterned papers that
accompanies the topper and again corners rounded.

3. Still using kraft card and the same e/folder I cut
a smaller frame and adhered to the card at a slight
angle. Another of the backing papers but this time
I also embossed this before adhering again at at
slight angle.

4. Another piece of kraft card also embossed and
them I added the cat topper to the this again at
an angle.

To complete I added a lemon satin bow, some silver
swirls and the words PALS ( as they really do look
like little pals all playing away together).

Thanks for the visit

Until Next Time

Gates open on above

Gates partially closed

DETAILS

1. 8 x 8 white card, matted it with yellow card that I
first embossed.

2. Next layer, brick paper from my stash.

3. The image was printed onto super smooth and coloured
with Copic. Die cut using S/B Pearl Effects.

4. Using green card from my stash I die cut the gates using
one of the new Tattered Lace dies Botanical Bouquet
Floral Frame,  I then attached it to the image before
adhering to my card. Once it was stuck I then opened
the gates to reveal the image as I wanted it to give the
effect of looking  through the open gates at the little
 gardener.

5. The ivy was cut using Sue Wilson Ivy die and then
attached to give the appearance of it climbing the wall.
The butterflies were printed off the cd from Ooh La La
and adhered onto the card.

To complete I added dark green Tonic Nuvo Crystal drops
at the corners.

That's all from me today, thanks for calling and
I do hope you will come along and join the challenge.

Challenge Blog http://abitmoretimetocraft.blogspot.com.au/

DETAILS

1. Using an 8 x 8 white scalloped edged card I took the
first backing paper from the Elegant Collection By
Lozzy and cut the card all the way round to get
the scalloped edge. I then adhere to my card.

2. The second layer is again from the Elegant Collection
and this also has been cut to create the scalloped edge.

3. The image is called Sian Goddess 46" and is  from
Morgans Art World.   I have coloured her using Copic.
I have embossed a piece of silver mirri card and made
four slits to enable me to slot the image into.  I then
mounted onto the card with foam tape.

To complete I cut from  silver mirri card two flourishes
and a corner die and then added five pink roses.

In love Forever

Good Morning,

My Crafty Friends, Visitors and Follower,
Welcome to my latest follower Dmitry Lopatin

Today we are starting our latest challenge
 222  over at :-

The challenge theme is

Use Die Cuts

and its been chosen by Yours Truly  ME

The girls have been working hard to
create designs to inspire you, so please
take a moment to view their work and
if you can, leave them a comment.

I have chosen to use an image from the cd

Shaun Jenkins Collection

You can purchase it and others by clicking on
the link   HERE.  There are also some great
freebies too,  so well worth checking it out.

The prize for the winner will be
2 digi downloads from the Ooh La La Creations Store

DETAILS

1. Started with an 8 x 8 card and using T. Holts distress ink
Spun Sugar  I inked around the whole card.

2. Next layer is the LOVE paper that I printed  off the cd
and over the top of that I added the curled edged effect
pink paper again printed off the cd.  I do love those
curled effect papers.

3. To conceal the join of the two papers I then added a
gold lace border created by using the Joanna Sheen
die Harriet Lace.

4. The topper was a little too large and covered the curl
paper so I took my craft knife and cut around the curve
to allow me to slot the topper under.

5. Again with the gold card I die cut the couple using
the Tattered Lace die ( Couple Street Scene) and
adhered it flat to the card.  I thought the couple apt
to use seeing as the wording on the topper reads
(All because two people fell in Love) and also
to make it an anniversary card.  The sentiment
again die cut using gold card.

Thanks for calling

My Heart Is Yours

Welcome Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors.

Hope everyone is OK?

It time again to introduce our 5th challenge over at

We are a monthly challenge that will
start on the 5th of each month and end on the last day of the month.
We are a themed challenge and this month the theme is:-

Have A Heart

Here is my DT make and please visit the blog and see what my
team buddies have designed for your inspiration.  We hope  you
also come along and support us by joining in.

For my card I have used the image Penny & Scott Cuddles
from Make It Crafty. Click the link HERE to go to the image.

DETAILS
1. Card blank is 8 x 8 scalloped edges and I have used a navy
and silver sticky backed paper as my first layer. No idea
where or when I purchased it as its been in my stash for
years and to be honest I came across it by accident.

2. The image has been coloured with Copic and then die
cut, inked around the edges and then adhered to the card.
I just love this image as it can be used for countless
occasions.

3. The hearts are from a die set from Little B called Hearts
and again the red card was found hiding in the back of
one of my draws. I cut a large heart and then a smaller
one and mounted the smaller one on top of the larger
one. Mounted them at each corner using foam tape.

4. The silver ferns were cut from the Tattered Lace
fern collection and the roses from my stash. I
added the sentiment Cherish The Moment that
was die cut using silver mirri and the Tonic
Die from (Rectangle Frame Cherish The Moment)

So there you have it, looking forward to seeing
your creations over on the challenge blog.
