Just For You

Good Morning
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Hope everyone is well and coping with this strange weather.
Yesterday looking out the window, you would be forgiven for
thinking Oh what a beautiful day, then out you go and its
freezing (well for me anyway then  I am cold even when we
are having a hot day LOL).

Today I have made a card just for the heck of it!
hope you like?

DETAILS

1. Card size is 7 x 7 and I have matted it with black card. Next
layer is  from papers pad from Phill Martin and before I
adhered it to the card I took a piece of red satin ribbon
added a slider and place across the card.

2. The flower swirls and sentiment are all from Heartfelt
Creations and are the Sunrise Lily Swirls and Sunrise
Lily Wishes.  I stamped these out and embossed with
black embossing power.  There are also dies to cut
out the Sunrise Lily swirls which I have used but the
spray on the right next to the sentiment did no have
a die so  this was hand cut.

3. Having a sort through my draws I came across some
Derwent watercolour pencils that I must have bought
over 12yrs ago and though maybe time they had an
airing.  I am not very good using pencils but thought
I would give it a go and I am quite pleased with the
result.

Well my friends, that all from me today
maybe see you tomorrow.

Photo Inspiration

Good Morning,

My Crafty Friends, Visitors and Follower,

Hope everything is fine for you all?
Not long to go before this month is out,  do hope the
weather starts to warm up a little.

Today we are starting our new
challenge  # 203  over at :-

The challenge theme is

Photo Inspiration

and its been chosen our lovely Allison

I have chosen to use an image from the

Shaun Jenkins Collection cd
This is such a versatile cd and there are
design's to suit almost any occasion on it.

You can purchase it and others by clicking on
the link   HERE.  There are also some great
freebies too,  so well worth checking it out.

The prize for the winner will be
2 digi downloads from the Ooh La La Creations Store

Here is my card and I hope you like my interpretation
of the photo.  The team and I cannot wait to see
what you create but if you feel you need some inspiration
then pop over to the challenge blog and see what
the girls have come up with.

DETAILS
1. Using a 7 x 7 card I matted it with sliver mirri board and
two papers from the cd Shaun  Jenkins Collection that
co-ordinate with my chosen topper.

2. Before adhered to the card I laid a piece of satin ribbon
across the centre to conceal the join in the two papers.

3. I took my topper and mounted it onto more silver mirri
board and punched the corners with my X Cut punch.
Using foam tape I mounted it to the centre of the card.

4. The corners were cut using a Tonic corner die and
silver  mirri board.  I searched through my stash and
came across this silver card that is a peel off and
new it would be just perfect to add to the bottom.

To complete I used some die cut flowers from  Tattered  Lace,
coloured them and added them to the card.  I used pearl
gems for their centres.

So there you go, my take on the photo inspiration!.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with

Thanks for the visit and the comments

My card has been made using the cute image

DETAILS
1. For this card I decided to create my own card shape.
Once cut I covered the front with paper from the  new
Crafters Companions Verity Rose collection.

2. Next layer was a die cut frame I found in my stash and
I laid this at a slight angle with foam tape.  Next I added
a doily and then using another paper from Verity Rose
I die cut the spotty frame. Again this was placed at
an angle.

3. The image was printed onto super smooth and coloured
with Copic. Still with the same die I used for the spotty
frame I die cut the image then inked around the edges
before adhering to the card with foam tape.

4. I then used a ribbon thread die and pink glitter card
to created the side panel and threaded pink organza
ribbon through it, tied off at the top with a bow and
added pearls before adhering to the card.

To complete I added flower that I had made and pearl.

card and adhered to the card with foam tape.

3. To add a little extra, I added glitter onto the flowers on
the backing paper and on the water on the topper.
