2. Next I took a piece of Hessian (from my stash) and laid it across
the card.

size and distressed around the edges before adhering to my card.

Monochromatic

Good Afternoon
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I cannot believe that yet another month has been and gone.
November is here, so if you have not yet started with the
Christmas cards, I think you had better get going because
if November is like the rest of the year in a blink of an eye
it will be Christmas.

Thanks to everyone who joined our last challenge, there were
so many wonderful entries.  So as you can guess its time again
for another new challenge at PENNY'S PAPER CRAFTY

The theme this week is MONOCHROMATIC

We are sponsored this week by

Prize $15 Gift Certificate

and

Prize $10 Gift Certificate for their online store

Now monochromatic is not as dad as it sound, simply means
using the same colour but in different shades.  I have chosen
a very cute image from Little Blue Button entitled  Miss Lilly
With Umbrella  and you can purchase her HERE.  I have
chosen to use  varying shades of grey as my colour palette.

DETAILS

1. Started with a 7 x 7 what card and added a brick background
paper created  in MCS.

2. Next I die cut the puddles background and shaded with grey
(sorry shading is something I need to practise as somehow
I never seem to get the shades to flow into one another)
This was then adhered to the background and I have
added 3D clear gloss liquid embossing to the puddles
and raindrops.

3. The image was coloured with Copic and the fuzzy cut
then adhered  flat to the card.

4. Using grey card from my stash I cut out an aperture so as
to create a frame and this was then placed over the card
using foam tape to give height and the illusion of a picture
frame.

To complete I created some paper flowers out of grey paper,
made a bow and used gems in the corners that I coloured
with a grey marker.

I do hope you will join us, if you think you need some
inspiration,  then please  hop on over to the blog and
see what my fabulous team buddies have created.
