Back To School

Good Afternoon

My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I would firstly like to welcome Veerie who is my new follower.

Hope everyone is OK.  Wow another month is nearly
over, can you believe  how fast these months are
going. September tomorrow, Christmas is looming up.

Welcome back for another challenge over at

 Dream Valley

The challenge runs every fortnight , posted every other Monday.

The theme for this fortnight's challenge is

BACK TO SCHOOL

and we are sponsored this fortnight by

We would love you to come and join in  BUT:-

Please Remember - Only 10 Challenges including Dream Valley
can be entered and you must link back to our blog.

My image is  named Back To School and here
is the link to the stamp.

DETAILS

1. I took an A4 kraft card and folder to make an A5 card
and matted it with black card.

2. Using Serif I created the backing paper and matted
it at an angle onto the card.

3. The image ( don't you think she is a cutie) was
coloured with Copic markers then die cut.

4. Another exact frame was then cut from black
card and mounted onto the back of the image
die to give that extra edging. It was then
adhered to the card using foam pads.

5. Using die cut letters and numbers, I randomly
adhered them. I then added the school
elements that I got from the pound shop.

I hope you go on over to the challenge blog and
have a peep at what my team buddies have created,
Maybe you need some inspiration, then look no
further than the blog, you are sure to find some
from the fabulous work my buddies have done.

To Inspire

Good Morning Everyone

Hope you are doing well today and whatever you are getting up to
Enjoy it.

My cousin Mary is popping over today for some crafting and a catch up
so we should be in for a pleasant day.

As you know I design for the lovely Emma from Delightful Digi Images.
Emma designs her own digi image an also design papers. I have
decided to create  two cards and a tree decoration for you today to
show these fabulous images, I hope you like?

If you want to see more fabulous images and papers then
use the link HERE to go the web site. There is also a
Facebook page and we would love to see you there.
Facebook  link

DETAILS
1. I created the card base using SB die circles and used the
largest and cut two using blue pearlescent card.

2. Using the Butterfly  backing paper I chalked over it, die
cut it and wrapped ribbon from my stash across it before
adhering to the base.
    3. The  butterfly image was printed out three times and coloured
with Copic. I then decoupaged the large butterfly using
silicone gel.
To complete I made a bow and added to the top and added
pearls created using Tonic Nuvo Crystal Drops in Wedgwood Blue.

DETAILS

       1. Used the new Robert Adams template Stepper card template
& Oval Trellis die to create the card base.
          2. Printed the Robin onto super smooth and coloured with Copic
and die cut using an oval die. I added fluffy stuff on the
hat brim and bobble.
3. Die cut another oval from  black card and adhered the
image onto this before adhering to the card.
           4. Used Sue Wilson Snowflake border along  the bottom
of the card and corner dies. I cut away most of the
corner to just leave the  snowflake and adhered this at the top.
         5. To complete I die cut ivy, coloured it and adhered to card.
The Snowflake border and snowflake have been glittered.

And last but not least just to show the versatility of the the lovely
Rocking Robin I created a tree hanger by printing out
two imaged of the robin, reversing one image and colouring
with my Copic's. I again added fluffy stuff to his hat.
Before joining the robins I took some silver Christmas ribbon
an adhered it to the one robin then glued the other robin
over it.

The picture shows both sides of the robin and just to prove
he does hang I took the photo with him hanging on
a bamboo plant ( you will have to your imagination for  a Christmas Tree).

I do hope I have fired your curiosity to pop over to
Delightful Digi Images and have a look around I am
sure you will spot something that you fancy having a
go at.

paper from my stock I cut a piece and adhered to the
card base. I glued a piece of lace down the side and
then added the rest of my design to the card.
To complete using the same lace I created a bow and
added a heart shaped dazzler to the centre.

MCS.  The image is called Mary Boos Candy Candy and
you purchase her HERE.  Again colouring done
with Copic.

Clean and Simple

Good Afternoon
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I Hope you are all well this Monday afternoon?

Been busy doing housework and changing curtain, then decided, whilst the
sun is shining and the wind is blowing that I would wash the ones I had
taken down.

I did not realise how strong this wind was, well yes I have managed to get
three pairs of curtains dry but I have been in and out like a yoyo, as the
wind was blowing the curtain all over the line at one point on curtain
blew off the line and only for the poppy plant it would have blown
over  the fence. Hey Ho what fun.

Have been very busy over the weekend getting my DT card made
and scheduled but I did manage to make this one just for me
and if I say so myself I am very very please with how its turned
out, as I do not make many CAS cards.

DETAILS

1. I started with an A5 white card and stamped the
butterflies directly onto the card.

2. Next I stamped the flowers onto white card, then
coloured them with Copic before cutting them out.

3. I then shaped the petals before I adhered it to my
card and added Tonic Nuvo Crystal Drops to each centre.
( These drops are fabulous and hold their shape beautifully
and fast becoming my favourite embellishment).

4. The butterflies were also coloured with Copic.

The stamps are from Honey Doo Crafts and the sentiment
die is from Phil Martin.

cats and dogs selection, seeing as its paw prints I
though it very apt for this design.

2. The next layer was red dotty card then using my
heart shaped die I cut it out of brown card again
from the cats and dogs selection and although its
not showing up very well it does have the paw
prints on it.

3. The image comes sitting in the pretty heart and
I printed it out onto super smooth and again
coloured with Copic and then inked around the
edges with Tim Holts vintage photo. He was
then mounted onto the larger heart using foam
pads.

4. All the sentiments come with the digi and
I decided to use them all. So the PUPPY
and LOVE were inked over with Vintage Photo
then adhered to red card before sticking down
with foam pads.  The I WUFF YOU was
cut around with deckle edged scissors and
adhered with foam pads.

The little chrome bone was taken from a dog
collar a couple of years ago and as we
crafter's do put into my stash box for
later use. You see, keep something long
enough and eventually it comes into use.
