Party Girl

Good Evening to my crafty friends, followers and visitors,

Well today has been very quite for me so I have spent most of my day in my craft room and
watching Create and Craft .  I did intend to do some planting but seeing the weather I decided
not today. I am afraid I love my garden but only like to work in it when the weather is warm and sunny.
Today's make is a little on  the  sophisticated style, hope you like.

1.  8 x8 Metallic Grey card

2. I then used a Hunkeydory embossed red card to
create the background.

3. Onto black card I used the mask( ornate Frame) from
Creative Expressions. The textured paste was also from
Creative Expressions - Warm Gold Sparkle Cosmic Shimmer.

4. The image if from one of Debbie Moore's design collections. I
cut slits into the frame and put to allow me to create a dome with
the image.

5. To complete the card I added feather, flowers and red gems
from my stash.

Thank you for visiting, I hope you have enjoyed it.

Until next time
Take Care and Happy Crafting.

Fairy Dream

Hello my Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors,

I hope you all had a relaxing and enjoyable bank holiday.  At least the weather was bright and
sunny.  Did not get up to much only doing the washing then relaxed in the garden until time to
visit mum.
When we got back we went into the hot tub then had a barbecue, then into my craft room, very  enjoyable end to the day.

Well it's Tuesday already and I must say I am really looking forward to Saturday as I am off to
The Great British Craft Festival at Bolton Arena with my cousin.

Today make is a Fairy  Theme - hope you like?

1. I used an 8" x 51/2" fancy shaped white card
2. To this I added Lilac Ribbon which I threaded through
the card corners and twisted.
3. I selected the topper from MCS Illustrious Illusions CD2.
I then printed out just the fairy and cut out and decoupaged
her. Her wings were then glittered. It was then mounted onto
Gold mirri card.
4. The background is also from MCS - World of watercolour1
and is titled Butterfly Wing. This also was mounted onto Gold
Mirri card.
5. To complete the card, I added Lilac flowers, two strands of
lilac beads and lilac gems all from my stash.

I do hope you have enjoyed your visit and that you will visit again.

Until next time, as always

Morning My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors,

I hope you are all well and hopefully enjoying the bank holiday.  Up to now it looks like we
might have a nice day.  Todays card is mostly Tattered Lance, I hope you like?

1. I used an  8 x 8 White card bank to this I cut two corners into
the card using a Tonic Corner Die. I then embossed the card
front using a Sheena Douglass embossing folder from her
Taste of India Collection, then I  covered it using Lilac ink.

2. I then added lemon pearl card to the inside, so that it would
show through the corners.

3. Next I took lemon pearl  card and die cut the frame using the
Tattered Lace Ornamental Diamond Rectangle and added it to
the card.

4. The centre flower and the butterfly were both cut using again
Tattered Lace dies.

5. The other corner pieces were made up by using  the waste
from the Ornamental Diamond Rectangle. Pearls were
added to the frame and butterfly.  The tag for the
sentiment is the inner part of the Diamond Rectangle and
to this I added the words made up from the Tattered Lace
Alphabet dies

6. The whole card was finished off by adding a lemon bow.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit and as always

Until Next Time

Summer Fun

Good Evening my crafty friend, followers and visitors,

Not had much time to craft this weekend as its flown by and things have been a bit hectic. Firstly
going back and to to see mum, who by the way is improving and is now eating although her back
pain will not ease, hopefully she will be able to cope. Secondly my dear Hubie yesterday
decided he would vacuum out his car and whilst cutting the cable tie on his hoover, yes you have
guessed he managed to slice the top of his finger with the Stanley knife.  Men being men he told
me to just plaster it up.  This happened around lunch time and by 8pm I was winging him to
A & E as the bleeding would not stop and he ended up having three stitches (MEN), so by the
time we got home it was after 10pm. Hey Ho that's life, anyway I hope you like my creation.

1.  8 x8 white card blank to this I added  navy  card.
  2.   A smaller backing card in red was added on top
of the navy card.
3. I then die cut another navy card using the Spellbinder
Grand Circles.
4. Once the circle was cut I then pleated red dotted ribbon
all the way round the edge.
5. Using white card stock I die cut the Ferris Wheel the
Helter Skelter and Carousel using the Tattered Lace
dies and then backed them onto red card.
6. The sentiment was created by using the Tattered Lace
alphabet and mounted onto navy card an then
mounted using foam pads.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit and I would you to leave a

Until next time, Take Care and Happy Crafting.

Hi Everyone, hope you are all well?.

The weather here is not very nice today as it's raining but
I will be able to play in my craft room without looking out and thinking I need to be in the
sun.  Once again its Thursday (my how the weeks are flying by) and Mary my cousin will
be coming over, not sure how much crafting we will do as we have to go out first.  Anyway
my friends whatever you are are up to hope you have a good day. Today.s card is again a
stamped one - Hope you like?

Card is made from white card stock and measures 20cm, I scored at 10cm
to create the panel.  Next I embossed the front panel with a Sheena
Douglass  Taste of India embossing folder.  The inside panel has been
covered with a backing paper from the Tattered Lace magazine ( think it
was issue 1).  I then die cut the tree using the Spellbinder Flutterby Tree
and cut extra butterflies for the front panel. The image I coloured using
Pro-Markers then mounted onto a piece of Hessian before attaching to
the card. For the  finishing details I added buttons and a bow from my
stash and placed the extra butterflies around the image. The sentiment
was stamped onto white card and die cut using  part of a Die'sire
Magic Mirror die.

I would like to enter this into the following challenge

I love Pro-markers  #220 Anything Goes

I hope you have enjoyed your visit and that you will come back soon.

Evening Dates

Morning everyone and welcome to my blog for today.
I have two cards to offer today that I have managed to do over the weekend, again they are stamped
images. I hope you like?

I started with an 8 x8 card blank, to this I added a backing paper from
the country garden paper pad from Craftworks Cards. I then die cut
the piano and flourishes from the Tattered Lace die range. The
lady was stamped onto white card then coloured using Pro-markers. I
then added her using foam pads to give dimension. The flourishes
were cut from  mirri  board.

Again using 8 x8 white card I covered it with backing paper from the CD
Perfect Papercrafting Compainons by Creative Crafting World, one plain
and one patterned  to this I added two borders cut from white
card using a Martha Stewart punch down both sides. Two  white cards
were cut using a Spellbinder die and then I embossed one and stamped
the image on the other. She was coloured again using Pro-markers
then I distressed it around the edges. The bud roses were from
my stash.

I do hope you have enjoyed your visit and if you care to leave me a
comment, that would be lovely as I enjoy reading them.

Hope you are having sunshine today wherever you
are and can manage to get out and enjoy it.

Well my friends, whatever you are doing today as always

My Little Friend

Good Morning Crafty friends, followers and visitors,

Well what a week its been for me, mum has been laid up in bed due to problems with her back which meant I have been going to her everyday from early morning until late afternoon. I had to get the doctor back out on Wednesday and its been decided that she  needs to go into a  rehabilitation centre to try and her back onto her feet, she will be there for 2/3 weeks and hopefully they will be able to help her out.
So my friends hence why I have not blogged, but I have managed to get a make done, yet again I have had a go at stamping ( I will get the technique if if the last thing I do). I do hope you like.

A4 Card stock embossed, I then added my stamped image
which had been coloured using Pro-markers, then die
cut using a Spellbinder die. Card was finished off
by adding a bow from my stash.
The sentiment is made up from a Tattered Lace Alphabet Die.

Cherry Blossom Pink

Good Afternoon,
my crafty friends, followers and visitors, I hope you are all well and had a great weekend. Mine not so good as my mum is poorly and is in bed which means I have to keep going to make sure everything is ok and that she gets food and drinks.

I have been with her today since 7am and only got back after 2pm but never mind that's what happens when you are an only child.  Enough of that, on a more lighthearted note I did manage to get some crafting in yesterday and finished this card late evening. I must say I am quite pleased with the result, and yet again it's stamping.  Hopefully I will improve my technique the more I practice, hope you like?

8 x8 white card to which I layered  plain mint card,
I then added another layer of pink card which I have embossed
using one of Sheena Douglas Taste of India folders
Frame cut again from mint card using Spellbinder
(Branching Out) die.   The image was taken from one of
My Craft Studio  CD's I then coloured using Pro Markers
The image was then mounted onto pink card and
added to the frame. I them finished off with pink
ribbon to which I added cherry blossom flowers,
a bow  and a sentiment.

Something Diffrent

Hello again my crafty friends and visitors, well twice in one day I am blogging just what
am I doing!!!!!.

I have done something new today (stamping) so I thought I would make a card out of it.

Image stamped using  Imagination Crafts stamp
Coloured using LuminArte, then mounted onto black card and then
                           onto green card.

Tattered Lace Florentine Fancy Edge die used on black card to which
I added a green ribbon before mounting onto more green card stock.
I used a 8"x8" white card but covered the front with black card.
The whole thing finished off with green pearls and green gem.

Well that's it for today my friends, hope you enjoyed
your visit and if you could post comments, I would
love to read and publish them.

Until next time, take care and happy crafting.
                                                                Jennifer xx

Good Morning my crafty friends and visitors,

I would like to thank everyone who is now following me. I am so excited because I am new to blogging and  still  trying to get the hand of things and it really means a lot to know that people are interested and take the time to look and comment about my projects.

Anyway enough of the flannel (HA!!)  I do hope you like todays offering?

I started out with two 5" x 7" cards and joined them together.
Then using the Spellbinder Detailed Scallops die I cut two panels
from Centura Pearl gold stock stock.

The Lelli-Bot Pure Elegance toppers I coloured to match the card
and then mounted onto the panels.  Ribbon was added to each panel
before sticking to the card. Pearls were added at each corner.

The inside was lined with A4+ gold paper and I then added two
pieces of the Lelli-Bot backing papers and another topper from the
Pure elegance Lelli-Bot kit along with a sentiment.

Many thanks for visiting, I hope you have enjoyed
until next time, take care  and happy crafting.
