Let's Party

Good Morning
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Doing anything nice today?. I'm off food shopping then
over to mums. Still not feeling to good but you know the old
saying ( You can't keep an old dog down) well that's me, Old I
mean not a dog!!!.
Going to try and get a new carpet for mum's bathroom this afternoon
then Nigel will be fitting it Sunday (hopefully).

Today I want to share with you a card I have made using one
of the digi image that I won on Holley's blog an few months ago.
Thanks  Holley, all the three images are fabulous.

DETAILS

1, As usual for me, card is 8 x 8 and pink.

2. I matted it with gold patterned paper then with a
Happy Birthday paper that I have had in my stash
for years.

      3. The image No 524 from Sherri Baldy was printed
onto super smooth card then die cut ( sorry brain
brain a bit frazzled, cannot remember the name). I
then coloured her using Copic's Ciao and then inked
around the frame with T.Holts distressed ink scattered
straw.  I then mounted her onto the card with foam pads.

4. I made the bow using organza ribbon that has sequins
sown into it, added some bead stems and a dazzler.

Once again many thanks Holley, you are a gem.

Sitting Pretty

Good Morning
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Happy 1st of May to you all, maybe now the weather will start to pick back up
but don't hold you breath.

How are you all doing today, ready for the long weekend?

Usual today for me I'm afraid, off to mums to carry out my domestic chores
then back this afternoon  hopefully doing some crafting.

Today's card has been made using one the digi images that I won from
Holley and is again one of Sherri Baldy's Bestie images, which I love

A Big thank you to Holley and I hope she likes what I have done with her.

DETAILS

1. Started with an 8 x8 pink card and matted it with paper from
the paper pad Rose Garden from First Edition.

2. Next layer was a panel of White Spider Net. On top of that
I added a heart shaped doily.

3. The image was printed onto super smooth and coloured
using Copic's and the die cut with a circle die from SB.

4. With the next size up circle die, I used another piece of
paper from the same pad and then mounted the image
onto this at an angle.

5. The outer frame is from Tonic and before adhering to the
image I coloured the edges with Pan Pastels.

6. The butterfly borders were created with the Joy die
Butterfly border and cut out of White Pearlescent card.

7. The lace roses were cut to length to create a border down
the side. I then added a silver butterfly and three gems.

To complete I made a bow, left long tails and twisted them
before adhering to the card. A heart slider was added to the bow.

me nod on your next comment and I will make sure I do follow you.

Just to bring you up to date with my back pain - well went to see the physiotherapist
yesterday and basically they are not sure what is causing the pain but gave
me a massage, told me to take pain killers and not to sit to long, keep
moving around  but it the pain gets to bad rest up a little.

So I think its a case of get on with it- which if anyone knows me is exactly
what I do and will do. Go back on 4th March and we will see.

That's enough about that so let's get on with what matters (Crafting)

Today's card is again a Sherri Baldy Geek image
(Don't think you can tell that Sherri Baldy images are one of my top list Or can you )

DETAILS

1. Base card is 5 x 7 and I have covered the front with a
piece of Lilac card.

2. The image has been coloured using pro markers and
then die cut using SB die Fanciful Lattice. I then cut
another  frame out of lilac patterned  card and attached
to the image frame a little off centre, to give a slight
shadow effect.

3. Made a bow from lilac organza ribbon and added a
Daisy flower ( from the Works pk of 25 for £1.00)
Lilac gems and Lilac glittered  butterfly.

Hope you have enjoyed your visit and that you

you all.

He Love me, He Love Me Not

Good Morning

My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are all doing today - did you all have a good weekend?
I did quite a lots of crafting over the weekend and even surprised myself with
the amount  I did, guess the brain must have engaged fully.

Well I have to tell you folks,  I have also been suffering with really bad
backache since Thursday and its not getting any better, who said getting
old gracefully?.  I have been having trouble with my hip, back and leg
for a while and had physiotherapy, which on the first visit worked and
I got relief. On my second visit however, for reason know only to
my body it came back again, thought nothing of it and hoped it would
sort itself out.  Wrong and its been getting worse each day then what
did Jennifer do?
Decided to have a walk on Thursday to town which is around a mile
away- not far I hear you say! when part of it is up  hill boy it's far.
By the time I got there, I was fit for nothing and yes I got the bus back.

Anyway to cut a long story short, I have made another appointment
and go back Wednesday Morning and fingers crossed she can sort
me out, Lord knows someone should as I am walking around like
a ruptured duck.

Moaning over, down to business, today's card is again made
using a Sherri Baldy image that I Won! sorry cannot remember her name.

DETAILS

1. Started with an 8 x8 card and  to this I added a piece
of co-ordination card that I had embossed with the
folder Dry Stone Wall then sanded back to show the
core colour.

2. The image has been coloured using  Copic pens
and then die cut. I also cut a larger frame from
silver mirri board and mounted the image onto it.

3. A row of silver diamante hearts was added down the side,
three flowers and three silver  candies .

Well that's all for today folks, more tomorrow and
promise won't rant on about my back.

Hope you see you back tomorrow.
