Fairy Dust

Good afternoon my crafty friends, followers and visitors,

Busy weekend for me as we are stripping the hallway, stairs and landing ready
for it to be re-plastered. Have been to the crematorium this  morning as
tomorrow would have been my dad's birthday so went to say hello and
leave him some flowers.  Just had some time off to do this post as I am
packing up working for today and am going to get some sun before
it goes in .  Hope you like today's make?

DETAILS
1. Took 8 x8 blank white card matted with pink pearl card
that has been embossed using a Tonic embossing folder.

2. From My Craft Studio I took the background and the
image of the toadstool, then added a fairy image so that
she was sitting on the toadstool. I then stuck it all to
pink mirri board.

3. Before I mounted it to the card I took pink ribbon and
arranged around and finished with a bow.  Once mounted
onto the card stock I completed by adding pink gems
to the ribbon and corners, added flowers and glittered
the fairy's wings and part of her outfit.

I do hope you have enjoyed your visit and that you
come back soon.

Oh Darling!

Good Morning,
My Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Well what a morning been up since 4.30am part done my housework
then had to go to the doctors for mum's prescription.  Go to the Chemist
back to mum's , then shoot back home and finish off housework.
Boy am I tired now but will have  some lunch then Linda will be
popping over for a cuppa and a chat. Hope you like todays make
(made last night finished today)

DETAILS

1. Card size 8 x 8 to this I added black card that I covered with
two backing papers  taken from the My Craft Studio CD
Opulent ( the papers are two separate one's that I put
together before printing off. The black and pink ribbon
I placed round before adhering to the card.

2. The image is from Hunkeydory and I have mounted it onto
a Tattered Lace Die (I think it's Hadden) I then mounted onto
the card using foam pads to give that bit of extra height.

3. I then took  black and pink feathers and added two stick pins
and two pink  roses and one black rose.

4. To complete I took the same ribbons and tied a bow curling
the ends and securing them with two more black roses  and
added a large pink gem. Six smaller pink gems have been
placed in three's down two sides of the card.

Well my friends must get my lunch now, thanks for
visiting and for your comments, I really do appreciate
them.

As Always , Take Care and Happy Crafting.

Anniversary Wishes

Good Evening My Crafty friends and Followers,

How are we all this evening?, weather is very mixed here in Warrington, sunshine showers and
cloudy. I must say that we have not seen the big yellow ball in the sky at all today but fingers
crossed for tomorrow. Not been a very good day as on our way to my mum's to  do
some jobs a stone hit hubby's windscreen and we now have a large crack in it,
needless to say Nigel was not a happy bunny and we cannot get it fixed until
Friday (good job he is on holiday this week and not having to trudge
 up and down the motorway)
I hope you like todays make as it's for my husband as it's our 24th wedding
anniversary tomorrow, where have all those years gone,  I'll be blowed if I know.
Don't know if we are going out or not but I will report.

DETAILS

1. 8 x8  scalloped edged card to which I added bronze mirri
Board and bronze ribbon.
2. The design is made up by using various images from MCS CD's
and before I adhered it to the card I tore  it to give a more shabby
look.
3. To complete I added three skeleton leaves down the side from
my stash.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you will come back soon.
I would also like to welcome my new followers and to
thank you all for the lovely comments you leave, I really do
appreciate then.

Fairy Dream

Hello my Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors,

I hope you all had a relaxing and enjoyable bank holiday.  At least the weather was bright and
sunny.  Did not get up to much only doing the washing then relaxed in the garden until time to
visit mum.
When we got back we went into the hot tub then had a barbecue, then into my craft room, very  enjoyable end to the day.

Well it's Tuesday already and I must say I am really looking forward to Saturday as I am off to
The Great British Craft Festival at Bolton Arena with my cousin.

Today make is a Fairy  Theme - hope you like?

DETAILS

1. I used an 8" x 51/2" fancy shaped white card
2. To this I added Lilac Ribbon which I threaded through
the card corners and twisted.
3. I selected the topper from MCS Illustrious Illusions CD2.
I then printed out just the fairy and cut out and decoupaged
her. Her wings were then glittered. It was then mounted onto
Gold mirri card.
4. The background is also from MCS - World of watercolour1
and is titled Butterfly Wing. This also was mounted onto Gold
Mirri card.
5. To complete the card, I added Lilac flowers, two strands of
lilac beads and lilac gems all from my stash.

I do hope you have enjoyed your visit and that you will visit again.

Until next time, as always
