are October has arrived. I cannot understand how
quickly this year has gone, don't know about you
but I have to keep checking the calendar as I
feel as if I am still in the previous month.

The theme for this months challenge is
Pretty Pinks or Halloween
If you would like to be a Guest Designer, then just enter

I have chosen to go with the theme Halloween, hope you like?
DETAILS
1. Started with 8 x 8 white card and matted with black card, next
layer is paper from the Mixed Media Paper pack by Lozzy.
2. Another frame from black card and again backing paper from
the same paper back.
3. The image was printed onto Neenah card and is a Halloween
Silhouette Scene that I won recently from Bugaboo. I think
this is a fabulous scene, don't you? I then die cut using a
circular die. Using Vintage Photo and Scattered Straw inks
I painted over the house.
4. I then distressed the image background by adding T/Holts
distress inks, Vintage Photo, Scattered Straw, Brushed
Corduroy and them I used Black Soot all around the edges.
To complete I red stickles to the bats and spiders eyes, green
to the cats and silver to the owl. ( Sorry they are not showing
up very well in the photo). Black Tonic Nuvo Crystal drops
were added at each corner to create the pearls.

Ooooh, I do like your Halloween card and the inking you added to that silhouette image makes it look fabulous. The layers matted with black give a brilliant bold design :-)

I absolutely love what you've created here! You made such a fabulous Halloween scene and I especially love how you blended colors with more intensity in certain places to give it little bursts of color. It has such a magical mystical feel and really transports me to an elegantly spooky place!
